Hey everyone, Seibertron still needs a little help with some projects that we are starting to put together for Seibertron.com. In a continuing effort to add content that users find interesting Seibertron is looking to add box art from all the Transformers series to the website! However, he needs our help. He is looking for just the box artwork of the characters. He would also love to get scans of the instructions as well as any non-G1 or G2 tech specs. This includes all toy releases! Here is how you can help:
1.) Scan images of your Transformers boxes. We would appreciate high res scans if you can get them but, anything you can add helps! Please do not post images from other sites. It needs to be your original work.
2.) Post them in this thread.
That's not all. We are also thinking about adding a video game section to the Vector Sigma Database here at Seibertron.com. We are looking at trying to add box art and screen caps of Transformers characters from various Transformers video games to the database. To do this we need help. Here is what we are looking for: just scans of the game box and screen captures of the characters. Here is how you can help:
1.) Scan images of your Transformers boxes or take your screen shots.
2.) Post them in this thread.
Once again, please do not post images from other sites. It needs to be your original work. If you are interested in helping just let us know by posting what you have. The bigger the image the better.
We are also looking at trying to add box art from all the DVD and VHS releases of Transformers to the website. Here is what we are looking for: Scans of the boxes of both DVDs, CDs, and VHS tapes. Here is how you can hep:
1.) Scan images of your Transformers boxes
2.) Post them in this thread.
As we mentioned before, please remeber do not post images from other sites because we cannot and will not use them. All images posted need to be your own original work.
We would also like to take this time to thank everyone who has helped out so far. So far we have a lot of images of DVDs and toy box art. Please keep it all coming!

I don't have anything myself, but you could fire off an email to Ben Yee of
http://www.bwtf.com and see if he could help.

Should I bother with the original Madman releases of the G1 and Beast Wars sets?
Just not sure whether Ryan got to keep those Beast Wars sets he was sent last year.

I will gladly see what I can contribute, I have a whole store room of boxes just sitting there. I'll be more than happy to dust them off and get you some images.
Anything to help My Online Home.
But, and I hope I'm not over stepping my bounds, but I think it may be cool to have an area where we can show pics of our own individual collection. I think that would be a great way to improve this online community, and bring us fans closer.
But lets hook up these requests first.

I don't have a scanner, nor any old packages/instructions. I keep all of the instructions/packages that I buy now, but the oldest stuff I have are from Wave 1 of Energon, so I guess I can't really help...
However, I CAN take screenshots of the characters from the TF Movie game, but I think my PC can't support the Hi-Res assets, so it would probably be best for someone else to send theirs in. Nonetheless, I'll grab a few screens, crop out the crap and post them on that thread.

I'll scan and post the front, back, cd, and all of the instruction booklet for the G1 PS2 Game. I can also scan Thunderwings box as it's the only one not in storage.

Hey Ryan, it just dawned on me that I have a giant box full of instructions for like a million figures including many many duplicates of the checklists that came with everything from American/Japanesse Beast Wars to present day product including an unused sticker sheet for G1 Omega Supreme.
However, I sadly do not have time to properly photograph and scan them. So I ask, if I ship this stuff over to you, can you do what you have to then get it back to me?
As I write this I do need to say I apreciate all you do for us, so I'll pay for shipping both ways, and of course not rush you. I'll also bag up some of the extra checklists and what not for you to keep(I have so many of them).
I also have lots of GM promotional props for the movie that some of the dealers I work for gave me. Yours for the taking my friend.
Let me know whats up.

I have a bunch of old boxes and instruction sets...I actually was just thinking about throwing them out (need more room for figures!!!)...I also don't have a scanner. If Seibs would like sometime, we can hook up over a few pizzas and go through em and he can take what he needs for the site and scan/pic/digitize/beam them up. I'm only an hour from Wrigleyville (the way I drive anyways..)...

Okay so I have a lot of original G1 boxes from Japan and few from the UK...
But the boxes are too big to scan (Fort Max Japanese)
Would a picture suffice? Do you have directions for using a camera instead? And you only want the character part of the boxart right, not the entire front of the box?

I still have the old G1 carrying case, but I don't have the cartoon-based artwork to go with it anymore (it's got Optimus raising an arm in the air and the Decepticon logo behind him). I've also got some of the G2 color/activity books somewhere at my parent's.
Anybody got the old Panini sticker book for the movie or the stamp books?

I've got a ton of G2, BW, and BM tech specs on my wall at my parents' house (where I will be this weekend), but I don't know if I have access to a working scanner.
