So my co-workers and I have been debating this for months, was wondering if any one wanted throw in there input. I of course believe the Transformers will take Star Wars every time.
We go by that Autobots and Decepticons work together, and the Sith and the Jedi work together.
Throw me your ideas

I assume the more powerful among the Jedi, such as Yoda in particular, could just make any TF fly apart into their individual parts the way Buster did to Jetfire with the Matrix.

See I feel with TF ability to travel between galaxies, it gives them the advantage of surprise every time, and if the TF had the cube from the movies, then that means that every machine from lightsabers to death stars could be turned into a transformer, giving the TF a massive army. I also feel that the TF would also be able to come up with a device that would be able to scramble or disrupt the "force".

I don't know about that. We never saw a Jedi take apart an AT-AT. Throw Yoda in the Death Star and it would probably take him forever to cause much havoc.
We saw a bunch of Jedi get beaten in episode 3. It didn't really take more than a little concentrated effort.

Robot wise even the worst transformers can run circles around star wars droids.
Star War droids come in two flavors. Droids that can either talk but cant walk (C3P0).
Or droids that can walk but cant talk (R2D2). Where as transformers in humanoid form can
hop, skip, jump, roll. Turn into a plane, train, car, animal. And talk.
Transformers are all that and a bag of energon chips.

We never had the opportunity. When they invaded Hoth in ESB Luke wasn't yet a Jedi. I don't recall the AT-ATs in the prequels, or at least none in a Jedi-involved conflict. I don't know about any SW media outside the movies, though.
Throw Yoda in the Death Star and it would probably take him forever to cause much havoc.
That's kind of an unfair comparison. The only way that would be comparable if Yoda went up against Unicron by himself.

Megatron would just wait for yoda to pass on or inject all Jedi with dark Energon

A thought occurs, Beast Machines where they become techno organic...doesn't that mean that those tfs could harvest the force?
Also I rather have the battle lines drawn as such, jedi-autobots-maximals-rebels against sith-decepticons-predacons-empire with blendtrons and yuzan-wong as a triple threat.
I mean if the universes ever collided the rebels and autobots would ally up.
I mean it's better to say gundams vs tf!

Star Wars would win. Why? Because Hasbro makes more money selling Star Wars so the script would say Star Wars wins.

I disagree since Hasbro owns Transformers and Disney owns Star Wars

All the more reason Star Wars wins. Disney isn't playing if they ain't winning.
And Hasbro makes the Star Wars product, which sell WAY more than TFs. Gotta keep that cash cow happy. Star Wars wins...sorry. I like TFs better, too, but thems the breaks.

I don't know about that these days. Stores can barely give away Star Wars toys.

Yup, or like the majority of Movie TFs.
And this is Star Wars we're talking about, a universe in which the weakest fire arm is still a blaster.

I know Jedi can do that and have powers like Fold Space but the original 13 Transformers could probably beat Jedi like Grand Master Luke or Yoda

I doubt that as the thirteen aren't generally around anymore or shown to be that powerful (in case of the ones still around).

The original 13 are hugely inconsistent, some versions have magical powers, some are just like any other normal TF but just lie about what they can do, and others kinda sorta have powers but aren't that special apart from being the first 13.
The Aligned Thirteen for instance, Yoda would take all thirteen down by himself, same for the IDW versions fromwhat we have seen of them, little more difficult to tell for the DW versions though.

Robots can be reformatted. Fleshlings turn to dust. So my moneys on Transformers.
On a side note, all these comments about marketing, brands, etc. are kind of irrelevant. I believe the creator of this thread wanted to know who would win if these characters existed in real life, not if humans wrote a comic book about them fighting.

Well if that's the case shouldn't this thread be in the fantasy battles forum? Also it's already been proven that fleshings can take down tfs quite easily in some cases coupled with the auto bots heroic natures (which means no whole scale battle as they would likely talk to the jedi) then this would never work out as a true one brand vs the other.

I know that's what was being asked, but regardless, the answer is always whatever the writer decides. If you say it's TFs, it's because you wrote it to be for whatever reason. If I say Star Wars, it's because that's how I wrote it. You can make the most compelling case ever as to why whichever side would win, but all it takes is for an official writer to make up something stupid and then that's all she wrote.
But for the sake of pretending 'if it were real life', who's even fighting who? Would the Autobots not team up with the Rebels and Decepticons with the Empire? Or are we assuming the Rebels and Empire are teaming up with each other to take on the Bots & Cons, who've also teamed up? Because THAT just doesn't seem very realistic to me...

I'd love to say Transformers, but I'm going to have to go with Star wars. I feel because it has had more time. Three movies to start before TFs even hit TV. It sort of solidified Luke, Vader and them in the public eye.
