For the old school fans amongst us, you're going to love this one. Artist Darren Rawlings has taken some of the coolest vehicles from our childhoods, including K.I.T.T., the A-Team van, and of course the Back To The Future DeLorean, and turned them into his vision of what they'd look like as Transformers.

They need to do a special line of these STAT. A comic book sub team/story line would be perfect. A team of Autobots disguised on Earth to resemble all of our 80's pop culture vehicle favorites. Then of coarse there's the licensing hurdles. SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY$$$

KITT as a Cylon aka Windcharger...nice!

Not feeling Kitt at all. He's the only one of the three that actually has a voice and a personality and faceless Vehicon killing machine doesn't really match it. He should be more James Bond in a visor than Cylon.

Allow me to preface this comment with, I'm no art critic but...
The altmodes look really good, almost too good, especially when compared to the 'bot modes. Like, the altmodes were found on google image search and then photoshopped. The 'bot and altmodes just don't seem congruent.
You sure this stuff wouldn't have been a better headliner for the weekly roundup?
Too lazy to look the guy up to see if he's a professional. (I also don't care enough. I did notice that his deviant account refers to him as a, Professional Member, whatever that means.)

One problem, though, the A team van looks like Mr. T, the DeLorean has Marty's hoverboard, but KITT isn't on a bathroom floor with a cheeseburger

These drawings are terrible. Not to mention the fact that they are silly as well. Why would the A-Team van have a Mohawk? Just because BA had one? Why would a Transformer use a hover board??? The KITT one is the only decent one of the group, and even it does not really fit the personality of the car. I wish I could say something more positive about them, but that would be a lie.

That must be KARR.

KITT would never turn into a Vehicon.

Count me as another who thinks KITT is off the mark. he needs a face.

That reminds me, is this the same guy who did that daily T-shirt design of these same vehicles plus Airwolf combined into Mr. Hardhat? (in that it had Jetfire's toy head) Cuz...that looked a LOT cooler than any of these.

I like the A-Team Van best because it could also be a template for a crossover toy of Renegades Roadblock and the Coyote, neither of which got the Joe figure and vehicle they deserved (did they?)

This is way better than anything here.

Great idea...not a fan of the artwork. Here are some other vehicles that would be cool to do:

() Airwolf- How could anyone forget that piece of awesomeness?
() Blue Thunder
() MASH Helicopter
() Knight Riders Truck, KARR (with voice chip featuring Peter Cullen lol), and the enemy truck Goliath I think his name was.
() BSG Viper and Cylon Raider
() MASK- why not combine them with TFs?

Id go a step further and include iconic movie vehicles too.
() EM-50 from Stripes
() Last Starfighter
() Bandits Trans-Am
() BTF Train
() Firefox
() Big Trouble in Little Chinas Pork Chop Express...sure its a stretch but I love that movie!!

It's class isn't it, I just wish I was better at customs, I'd lover to have a go at making it.

Maybe the 3rd Party toy makers should listen up... Its not like Hasbro will ever make these and there is little to no risk for legal action. Just sayin..

First off, the artist, IMO, goofed. Delorean's and Vandura's robot modes take significant elements off their primary driver, KITT doesn't.

However, KARR, being the primary driver of himself and an AI, having that robotic robot form fits him perfectly. Quick change of eye/scanner to yellow, and add the two-tone silver look (First appearance KARR was a lame repaint with only a yellow scanner, when the recoloerd him it made him much more distinctive... )

Now, a "true" KITT with much more of a "human" quality to him instead of the Cylon look would be appropriate, though he'd definitely have to have those '80s visor shades as the pattern for the eye/scanner... For some reason I'm thinking a transformation/look closer to Tracks than the Vehicon. For added effects, use that last season "super mode" to help bulk him up if necessary (especially in bot form).

I've always wanted to try something like this but I'm still improving my skills at drawing transformers. Like everyone else has said the kitt is off considerably, should of made it look more like the hoff
