I was under the impression the cost to attend was approximately $300, but this text excerpt from the Rhode Island Convention Center indicates otherwise:

Thanks for finding that! And to answer your question, there are several rates. The one's listed are the lowest ones. The best package (which includes the toy boxset, the free attendee toy, and all the Q&A panels) will be approximately less than $300.

BTW, any news on the "extra curricular' Stufff? Tours, advanced screenings of the new movie, and all other points they were selling last year?

I personally feel that the estimated attendace (2000 people) is WAY too low. This is going to be huge, and very crowded.

Exactly why I'm not going. Big crowds, too many people.

So go, get your toys, and leave.

There's nothing wrong with staying in your room. I did it during parts of the convention.

I live in Connecticut, anyway. Going to Rhode Island for 3 days, without a hotel room, is almost impossible at this point.

Yeah, I'm waiting to sign up. And of course hear about the exclusives. And while it could be crowded, being part of the club or buying the 'Primus' package, allows one times without the general public, so one can peruse without the huge crowd.
Hmmm...they're already a little behind, I thought they had said sign up would be in the first month of the new year. Now I'm just being really picky. I can wait, cause I know they are doing things to finalize a QUALITY event.

Yep, it cost bread to stay in a hotel for a few days, too.
