Fellow Seibertronians, rockstar Stan Bush wrote to the site asking us for some assistance in getting the word out for a campaign to see him perform his famous song "The Touch" on the Tonight Show.

We're trying to get as many people as possible to tweet this out this Thursday at 11 AM (Pacific time).

Heck, why not? I barely use my Twitter, but if it means that my wife has to watch Stan the man (she watches all of the Fallon shows, but isn't as much of a Transformer fan as myself), I'm all for it! lol

Realistically will it do much good? Prob not... does that mean I wont create a twitter account just to do this? Hell no. Maybe the Transformer gods will smile upon us one more time

Hell, I don't even like rock music. I'm a rap music fan.

But I can jam to Stan's work on the Transformers soundtrack. It just has that feel good nostalgic G1 feeling. So I do hope he gets to do that performance. He may be a one hit wonder. But he is our one hit wonder.

Stan needs to move on. Really. It has been 30 years and the guy is still milking every last dime out of that song. What other songs has he made that anyone other than his mom and a few friends from high school give a squat about?

The fact that he emailed this site to try to get people to watch his appearance is a testimony to the above.

amazing song and amazing soundtrack but this guy needs to move on. hope he is saving his money.

Gonna tweet that out for my Stan the man!

They totally missed a chance on this song with Mark Wahlberg in AoE... Mark Wahlberg totally sang this song(badly, IMO) as Dirk Diggler in "Boogie Nights"... There's a big fat crossover/easter-egg that TOTALLY went unnoticed...

Besides, I liked Stan Bush's "Dare" a lot better, was a lot more badass than "The Touch"... And the latest re-mix/remake of that with the weird Rap part to try and sound like Linkin Park? No, Stan Bush. No, no, no!

Great picture, Joe. It looks like it came out from last year's BotCon

He'd probably have more luck getting on Conan (seems the nutty sort of stunt he goes for), and he's better than Fallon could ever hope to be anyway.
