Entertainment site, iO9, has posted what they consider the list of The Top 10 Greatest Robots Of All Time, and the one we hold near and dear to our hearts, Optimus Prime, makes a grand appearance...at number 1!

I thought it'd be Bender? Oh wells... No wonder big OP gets about 5 toys a year, EVERY year.

That's a pretty sad list.

First thing I thought was Iron Giant. Glad he made the list. Dood, spoiler alert, jeez

The list creator neglected BattleTech despite including other piloted mecha. The Atlas and Mad Cat are the two most iconic battlemechs from that franchise. Oh well.

I do second Bender, though.

of course Optimus is at the top! then i would go Voltron then Robotech Valkyrie Gundam, iron giant the rest i could care less

Oh. Of course, any opportunity to bash the films, I suppose.

The list is for GIANT robots, not all robots.

I would have liked to have seen Johnny Socko's robot on there. I loved that show when I was three.

My options are pacific rims gypsy danger , the classic rx-78-2 gundam and logically Optimus prime

It should be titled "10 Giant Robots"

I wish Bender was on there, or Metabee (who's kind of like Bender and Bumblebee put together)
