Am I missing something?

Do you recall when you last updated it?

I changed it to Batman (I don't remember when) but then it suddenly changed back to Optimus Prime from Battle Tactics

Well we have had server problems, there was a small loss of data, your avatar might have been caught up in it.

Only Admins can change it, and according to the logs, no one has done that.

Yeah it's due to the recent server issues. Mine got changed to what it is right now and I have no clue how long it's been since I used this one (years, at least).

Only fix is to change it back in your User Control Panel, sorry for the hassle but there's no other fix for it unfortunately!

I figured the server issues was at the root of this, I had the same problem (I'm surprised it resorted to years-old backups of user settings). I removed mine completely after getting a complaint of my older one, unfortunately my current one is on the computer back in the Netherlands...

Should I go back to the white and pink bunnycat? Or try something different?

It wasn't really a complaint per se, more like a comment about it looked like a Navi from Avatar decided to join Jem & the Holograms and it freaked him out . I tend to take things a bit too personally at times, but the OP and I are on good terms and always have been. I originally didn't like it too much anyway

I remember seeing that comment, and the avatar it was aimed at, and there was a certain nightmare-fuel element to it's empty eyes, staring into your soul for all eternity.

It certainly wasn't evocative of JelZe's bubbly and helpful personality

I got my avi back! My Microsoft account still had that avi picture up, so I was able to save it to this computer and upload it from there. I'm so happy!

Probably a server problem. I doubt an admin would change it unless it was an accident
