Possible explanation for Cyclonus' "ears"

Okay, so really random thought here. I'm studying Art History in school right now, and I just was viewing a video on the Igbo people's artforms, specifically Ikenga figurines.

Well, I was watching the video, all normal like, but them it hit me:

Please tell me I'm not seeing things. I'm not saying that Cyclonus' "bunny ears" were inspired by this, but if you view the video, I honestly see a lot of similarities in the purpose of the figure and Cyclonus' warrior-like behavior.


Who knows, maybe a animator/toy designer took Art History in college and got the idea for Cyclonus' design from these figures.

I just wanted to share this with y'all.

Wow that's cool. I always thought he was supposed to be a demon or a viking.
