You can read it for free on their website tho

meh, it's still over-hyped fan-wank to me. Plus I REALLY don't want to support anything about that "Club".

Thanks, and yeah! There were some really good bits this year. :D

Sins was so close on all of my best moments lists, but never quite made it all the way up to the top for.. reasons. But most definitely a very good thing about very bad things from a very bad man who is very good. -nods-

Good review. I'd have to say MP Primal is indeed probably the best of the Year for me. Though Fort Max is a very close second.

So I shared this earlier, but now that we've got a proper thread...

We all have figures that, while maybe not the best made figure, they mean the most to us. For me, its Masterpiece Hotrod. I received him as a birthday gift, and that is really why he stands out. My wife tolerates, but doesn't this little hobby of ours. For her to purchase a transformer, and a Masterpiece at that, really shows just how freaking awesome she is. This one would make Roddy my favorite figure, but I've actually really come to love him.

When first announced, I wasn't to thrilled with him. That backpack is just the worst. Over time, as I continued to play and fiddle with him, I've come to really love him. He truly is a Masterpiece.

The best figure, however, is Masterpiece Optimus Primal. Hands down, I've never had such a perfect figure. It helps that the cartoon model was designed off of the toy, and when you add in 20 years of toy making advancement, and you have Transformer perfection.

2016 was a great year for Transformers. While the TR line failed to do much for me, it was amazing for others. The Official MP offerings where amazing, and in many cases, the 3rd party market actually surpassed what Takara could or can do in MP scale. RiD, while supposedly the kiddie line, showed much more ingenuity and play value than the main line did. It also has enabled me to have yet another avenue to bond with my sons. You can never have too many of those.

The road only goes forward from here.

I actually regret one of my answers on this list. I didn't get to read issues 1 through 3 of sins, and I got the TPB a little late, after I had written my answers, and I would replace my MTMTE answer with Sins. Sins is a great comic that I have come to love. For the past several weeks, it has been my go-to read. It is pure enjoyment with stories, stupid things, loss, love, and a sense of darkness mixed with light.

I do love it, and wish I could go back on my answer now

You did, but wrote one line and I couldn't justify the space. I have guidelines for a reason. ;)
