Resident North Carolinian ScottyP has given us some exciting news: writer John Barber along with IDW publishing, will be attending the North Carolina Comicon, which will be hosted at the Raleigh Convention Center from March 18 to the 19 of this year. The guest list can be found HERE. Check out the list, as well as the IDW press release quote, and if you live in the vicinity of Raleigh, grab some tickets and go see some awesome comics people!

Comics publisher IDW, home of such iconic titles as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Transformers, Back to the Future, GI Joe, and My Little Pony, will bring their creators and properties to NC Comicon for the first time ever at NC Comicon: Oak City 2017!

On March 18th and 19th, Downtown Raleigh will be your source for all things IDW as your favorite artists and writers descend on the Raleigh Convention Center for a weekend of exclusive panels, signings, merch, game demos, and more. Come meet the creators behind some of the biggest properties in comics, gaming, and film, and get a once in a lifetime shot at drawing the industry’s top characters at IDW portfolio reviews.

This con started out two years ago and was a one day thing in a cruddy Marriott's ballroom. The highlight was Mick Foley making an appearance for some reason. I couldn't find but one dealer that had any IDW TF books. Figured I'd give it a couple years to grow before going back, and look at it now!

If any Seibertronians wanna hang out and be pals at or around this thing, let's figure that out closer to showtime

North Carolina Comicon has added many more guests to their list since our last update, and there are some heavy hitters that will be joining John Barber in the comicon. Among the new guests announced are: Ted Adams, CEO and Publisher of IDW Publishing; Chris Ryall, the Chief Creative Officer for IDW; and David Hedgecock, Editor-in-Chief for IDW. What this could possibly mean with all these IDW names showing up at the comicon is anyone's guess, but it appears that there may be some sort of announcement or something of that nature.

Check out the comicon guest list above, and go HERE to get your tickets for the event, which will be March 18-19 in Raleigh, North Carolina. Speculate below what all these IDW staff might be doing at the comicon as well!

A few months ago we reported on North Carolina Comicon featuring IDW Comic artists and executives, and, thanks to a tip from our very own comics guru ScottyP,
NCCC has released their Panel Schedule for their March 18-19 Convention! While there are many (Comic and non-comic related) panels, the ones to watch out for are the two on the 18th, here's their official descriptions!

306: History of IDW
Join IDW Publisher & CEO Ted Adams, CCO Chris Ryall, and visionary creator Steve Niles as they discuss the unique and fascinating story of IDW and its ascension to the multimedia giant it has become. Full of candid stories, sneak previews, and an open floor for questions this is the only panel to get up close with the movers and shakers of IDW who just may have a few exciting announcements up their sleeves.

201: Transformers 2017
Join writer John Barber as he talks his work on IDW’s Transformers comics and what fans can expect to see coming from the world of Cybertron over the next year!

Expecting the announcement of Earthwar (or some kind of crossover event with a different title relating to the thing that's been building in Micronauts about an "Earthwar") from the big wigs and something unanticipated from Barber. Milne keeps teasing some secret project on Twitter, so I'll go all out and...

hope that a new thing involving either the Scavengers, Wreckers, or both is getting announced :WRECKERS:
