Thanks to fellow Seibertronian Brokebot, we've got a rather unusual piece of news for this site today -- as the website for the Boy Scouting Magazine reports, this year's National Scout Jamboree featured Boy Scout badges and patches pf large, popular brands. Among big names like Halo, Doctor Who and Monopoly; our favourite giant robots from outer space were present in their Generation 1 forms! Check out the patches featuring Optimus Prime, Grimlock, Bumblebee, Megatron, Soundwave and Starscream below and tell us what you think in the forums!

As a former Scout, that's awesome.

I'm amazed they put Decepticons on those patches.

I got mine off eBay. Haven't gotten the pocket set yet, so if any of y'all outbid me I'll hunt you down and shank you.

What about the hexigon "jacket" patch? Was that included?

Sorry, the council site was dragging. I picked up the full set of 7 plus the center patch for $75 before you pointed out the council website. I would rather see them get the $$, anyway.

Ever so slightly off-topic, but I find myself interested in the Doctor Who one. Very happily surprised Hurt and Eccleston are on there
