Earlier today, we received a message from Mark Watts. Mark is most well known amongst Transformers fans for being an artist who worked on Transformers Generation 1 brand back in the 1980s, primarily package and promotional art (most recently worked on the G2 Fall of Cybertron Bruticus exclusive set). Here is the information that Mark provided us to share with all of you about his Kickstarter.

Nice for something on a wall but table?

I live alone but even I would be embarrassed to use that as a coffee table.

That is so cool. I would invite over friends and family and MAKE them to use it as a coffee table. And before they can go they all have to pay it two compliments while maintaining sincere eye contact.

Transformers G1 Art Gets Puzzled

Just in from Weibo.com we have three images of their new Transformers G1 art in puzzle form. These appear to be reasonably sized, likely in the 500-1000 piece range, and feature two separate art pieces from the amazing G1 box art catalogue. The first is the iconic picture of Optimus Prime in the foreground being charged by a transforming Starscream, and the second is the classic image of Trypticon squaring off against his arch rival Metroplex in space surrounded by a flurry of Autobots and Decepticons! If anyone is a puzzler like my Conjunx Puzzlura and myself you'll be sure to pick these up.

And while we're on the subject of G1 art we have to mention fellow Autobot and classic G1 artist Matt Watt's kickstarter for his G1 wall art that, you guessed it, transforms into a coffee table. Sometimes great ideas come together like chocolate and peanut butter, WiFi and the internet, or wall art and coffee tables. If you haven't taken a gander at Mr. Watt's kickstarter it's worth it.

As always enjoy the images and share your views with the Seibertron crew!

As a jigsaw puzzle lover, theses are an absolute must-buy for me. I hope they're at least 1,000 piece, but I'll buy them even if they're not.

Looking at them and counting the end pieces, the Trypticon/ Metroplex one looks to be only 300 pieces (15x20 pieces), while the other looks to be 1,000 (25x40 pieces). That is if the pictures are an accurate representation.

You are correct the count is 300 and 1,000. They're also made in such a way that lock enough to pick up as demonstrated. They come from Ocean which I believe is the same Ocean that makes those official upgrade stickers for figures.

You'll probably have to import them, they probably wont be sold outside of Asia.

I remember there were Box Art puzzles back in the 80's over here. There was one on the 84 toys and one of th e 85 toys. In fact the 84 puzzle is still hanging in my room.
