Greetings Seibertronians! Feeling a bit low? Life got you down? Do you know what you need? Grimlock dressed as a pirate and singing a sea shanty to match!

Courtesy of Hasbro Pulse on Instagram comes this charming stop motion animation featuring Masterpiece Grimlock, singing away (even includes a disclaimer telling us that the toy doesn't actually sing, and that only moves and sings due to special effects). The lyrics themselves contain plenty of nods to Transformers, and are even presented on screen for you to join in via karaoke.

Yes, more silly please. Like the Megatron/Starscream "Screamed Hams" sequence on Youtube....

At least it's an original song and not another rendition of Soon May the Wellerman Come.

There's some pretty clever rhyming/wording here. As long as there's some real effort put into it, I think it's cool that Hasbro does stuff like this. There's always the looming idea of "it's just a way to get you to buy stuff", but whatever. It's fun.

I agree. They aren't selling squat here. It's amazing. I'd wager this came out of a drunnken online Christmas party from the marketing department.

Garfield still has the greatest pirate song ever. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LEwpt1rYJ4c
