For those that don't know, deck building games play like traditional card games but where they differ, is that, instead of buying masses of booster packs to build that killer deck, all the cards are included in the box.

Transform and roll out!

The Autobots are brave robot warriors hailing from the planet Cybertron. Their mission? To stop the Decepticons from enacting their evil schemes on Earth.

In Transformers Deck-Building Game, you take on the role of one of the mighty Autobots. Travel and explore the Matrix and transform between your different modes as you gain allies, find relics, and acquire technology to do battle with the Decepticons. But be warned! As your deck grows, more powerful Decepticons will rise up to challenge you.

Transformers Deck-Building Game can be played competitively or as a co-operative experience. This core set will begin your collection with everything needed to play, but the battle is far from over as playable Decepticons are on the way to expand your game.

Things that I think would be cool to have in this game:

-More original illustrations. The previous card game had those, but a whole bunch of them were reused drawings.

-Pacing out the releases. While it's good to have updates, they should be careful to not overdo it.

-Don't feel restricted to just one Transformers era.How awesome would be to have a Vehicon themed deck or equipping minicons cards to bigger Transformers?

Does this mean the previous line of Transformers TCG is no longer on development? I rather enjoyed playing it.

The ccg was canned a year or so ago, however it should be pointed out that this isn't the same as that as there is no booster packs to buy for this. All the cards are in this box, the challenge is purely deck building and finding the right cards.

So if you're upset by wotc deciding to discontinue the card fan, don't let it put you off trying this game as they are very different beasts

This looks very nice, I'd love to order it from their site so I could get the Jazz card (my favourite character) but they only ship to the USA and Puerto Rico.

bummer. Hopefully they make the bonus set available through other avenues overseas.
