This week has been full of random news, like our first look at a toy for the Rise of the Beasts film released in the Cyberverse line when that cartoon is being replaced by a new one. Well, this one might take the cake for randomness. An Australian phone ap for betting called TAB touch has released an ad where they have Gene Simmons in his full Demon garb singing Stan Bush's The Touch but with modified lyrics about betting on horses. Well that was definitely weird. I guess it's the marketing strategy of 'we want product attention, and don't care if it's negative'.

I think it varies state-by-state, but American TV's getting just as saturated with online betting ads. The tragic part is, you never know which of your fav celebrities will be sucked into one next.

Then Patton Oswalt becomes a regular in those Sportsbook ads with Caesar and Cleopatra, oh the savage irony.

And now Gene Simmons apparently really is in Satan's service. Hmmm, maybe this cover will make that Knights of Unicron set go up in value...

I don't think any of this holds a candle to Larry David selling out to Crypto.
