Frank Todero, a recurring voice actor in Transformers media, has posted about a cool 40th anniversay event happening this friday, which is a table read of the episode More Than Meets the Eye, Part 1 with several members of the original cast. There will also be bonus chtas with the voice actors before the event. Here is his post followed by Hasbro's post from Instagram:

THIS FRIDAY, June 28th at 8:30am PT (11:30am ET) “The Seconds In Command” of the Autobots and Decepticons are taking over!

Ah, so what we saw in theaters a few weeks back, but without the distracting animation.

Reminds me of Gene Siskel's old question of whether any given movie is as entertaining as would be a film of the same actors sitting around talking over lunch for 90 minutes. Not the greatest metric, but more worthwhile that the current trend of politicizing all entertainment by claiming that every installment of an established property that fails to live up to your expectations/fanfic is the result of a globalist-LGBTQIlluminati-pedolizionard conspiracy. Or the Bechdel test for that matter.

And I'd forgotten, I need to repurpose either Classics Starscream or one of my CHMS KO Starscreams into "Decepticon Leader". Was it intentional weirdness to have Skyfire's voice actor now also voice another high-ranking Seeker with Starscream's exact color scheme? I need to finally read Secrets and Lies...
