One of my acts, who is the most downloaded DJ in Asia and a massive fan of Transformers has decided to make an audio tribute to the series that inspired him so much as a kid.
He is a scratch DJ and spent 14 hours going through old episodes of the show and sampling sound bytes to create a battle record.
He has then amassed a collection of nu-skool breaks that would make Soundwave purr like a robotic kitten. He is now perfecting the scratch routine with the Transformer samples which will be dropped live during the mix. He has already shown me what he is doing with the "transforming" sound and it is pure aural pleasure.
There you now know more than anyone else does on the subject but if I tell anymore, he will be pissed.
I will post on here when the CD is ready for download. Which should be in one or two weeks.

It is a style of electronic music.
They are also called Breakbeat.
They are kind of like a funkier, slower form of drum and bass. Big bass lines that are good for annoying neighbours and scaring the elderly as you drive by.
