I have a car I have been working on the past few months and it's barely done, but it got me thinking that there must be other people out there with their own custom Autobot or Decepticon they drive around.
Hopefully we get a decent response. This is just for fun as we would like to see who is out there in the world with their own real-life robots in disguise! All Cybertronians welcome of course!
Our main site is located at
http://www.mytransformerscar.comHope to see some visitors as well as mail soon with cars from all around the world. Maybe we'll get a response?
Thanks for taking the time to read! Any feedback please feel free to post or e-mail!

I dunno about anyone else, but I can't afford a car at all, much less a tricked-out one!

I think you would get more attention if the site actually
had pics of even your TF car to encourage people
to share their's.
All my car has is a Con sticker in the rear side window.
And my rims were stolen so that really derailed me.
If anyone sees a set of 17" Raptor Racing wheels
in the SE WI area please let me know, I wanna kick some ass!

I will post some pictures up soon.
At current all I have are logos on either side of the car, a blue dome light on the interior for at night, silver chrome lettering on the back and an all-metal emblem on the back. My recent upgrade was my window tinting. All the original car logos have been removed and I have a Transformers vanity plate too. I locked that in months before the movie hit theaters. My co-workers recognize my car now as the Decepticon.
It's kinda cool... A lot of people have started to take notice of it when I drive around. I see people sneeking shots of it from their cars behind me on their cellphones. It's fun, but it's cool to see so many people recognize the Transformers. Some kids totally flip out seeing the logos. One guy, while I was gone in the store, wrote on the dirty part of my car, "AUTOBOTS RULE" next to my decepticon logo, HAHAH!
Anyway I'll have some pics soon. When I get it more souped up I will have professional photos taken of it. My next challenge is what graphic art I want all over the car. Might go for Ghost flames, racing stripes or something else. Cars are hard to figure out like this. I want it to be really cool, but not overdone.

Anyway I'll be on that site in about three years.

Sounds like a great idea man!
I have an Autobot sticker on my 4runner and I like to pretend he's Trailbreaker sometimes...

I dunno if I'm ok to post pictures with my vanity plates... Some do and some don't for whatever reasons. I'd like to since it relates to Transformers, but for now here's a few pics of my work in progress (it gets dirty so easily and need to take it through the wash again):

Someone wrote a nice message on the back of my car a few days ago, LOL!

What I'm frustrated is with now is what to do to the car. It's looking a bit bare and needs some cool graphic design along the side to go with the emblem as well as the hood. I was thinking racing stripes or possibly ghost flames, but I dunno...
I'm working on the front of the car grille. Took off the factory emblems and want to but a decepticon symbol on that, but need to find a molded piece that's bigger than the metal emblem on back. Need something about 4 inches in height and chrome painted.
I just don't know what design to do though, but I'm gonna take it in soon and get it done. Working on a few options, but nothing's quite clicking yet. Suggestions or ideas would be great! Cars are hard to do correctly....

This is very cool. I Thought maybe i was the only one.
I am currently in the process of buying a 75 camaro, and this is in no way to do with the movie, a local camaro dealer in my town has had it for a while, and i almost have enough cash for it now.
My dream cars are a Barricuda, an El Camino, a Camaro, and a Charger, and i came across the Camaro first, in time i will give it a custom paint job, and maybe make an evil Bumble bee...hahahaha.
I dont know.

ok versa..dont put flames. thats all i can say..DO NOT PUT FLAMES. i find it doesnt look good and i think people that do that are trying too hard to make their car 'cool'. i would hate to see this work in progress become worse. now thats just my oppinion and it's not my car, soo do what you want.

No offense, but flames don't fit a four door. It'd be cool to see megatron on there somewhere. Perhaps a chrome Titanium figure?

that would be quite neat. having megatron as the emblem on the front of the car.
oh..there was one idea i have. but i have NO clue how to get it to work, but oh well.
my idea was when your rear blinkers were going, it would show the decepticon emblem..if you get what i mean. i could make up a example (pictures) if you dont get what im saying.

Thanks for the comments so far and honesty! Much appreciated. They will only help in making improvements, so it means a lot.
I am totally against Optimus' flames, so I guess if I did that it would be supporting the flames, eh? HAHA!
If it was gonna be flames it would be like a silvery transparent look, but I dunno. I'm already borderline going too far into the geek realm, but I'm not trying to make it a "TRANSFORMERS BRAND" by slapping that name over it. Sure the whole Decepticon lettering is already more than what a standard vehicle should have on it if it were a real decepticon, but most of it consists of emblems.
I saw this truck today and kinda link the idea behind the design of these lines and how to incorporate it in the graphics on the side of my car:

One is choosing color scheme and 2 is making sure it isn't too busy. My current theme has just been a silver and black theme, but would be nice to but in a dark purple or a blue sort of thing (?). I will be doing photoshop renders to see what's going to work or not. The racing stripes, while cool, is on many cars and I want it to be more unique, although I get enough eyeballs looking with the emblems as it is to be unique. This is so difficult to decide... I might find those lines would look lame on the sides... well I'll see..
Thanks again!

Sorry if this is a serious thread bump but are you still doing the website? I've just recently added a chrome Autobot badge to the tailgate of my truck in the factory badge loaction. It would be great to see more cars with TF stuff on them
