Now if you thought Optimus Prime was a Decepticon when you saw Starscream on his comlink (see 20th aniversery Prime) check out this new information.

While playing City of Villains today I saw a new icon on my map that wasn't there before. On mouse over it said "Black Market. I followed the waypoint to this truck.

Look like anyone we know? I didn't do anything to make it look like Optimus that's actully how it was in the game.

Thats cool.

I'm guessing that it was labeled Black Market because its a Knock-Off, lol.

Actully it has something to do with some feature that won't even be active in the game till the next issue.

I found it in St. Martial. It's near the entrence to Pocket D. You'll see a Dollar Sign on your map but it'll be a different color than the normal stores.

That's freaky, like when Optimus made a cameo on The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy. He even had a fake Autobot symbol.

My sister also showed me another Optimus cameo in a PowerPuff Girls game.

St. Martial...huh.... Just started my COV game, so I'm not too familiar with it. What level is recommended for that area?

30-40 I'm guessing. It's the zone right before Grandvile and Gradvile is of course a 40-50 zone.

There should be Black Markets in other zones too. It's part of Issue 9 so you can't actully do anything once you get there but it's still marked on the map.

I think they used that same graphics for a truck that's "debris" in Crey's Folly on the Heroes side. One of my sg people got a pick with it a few months back, but I've never been able to find it. Glad they brought it back somewhere permanent. Too bad I don't ever raise my villains though.

Sorry to say but if you can't even get Warcraft to work City of Villains probly won't work for you either. You need a new computer or at least a new graphics card.

I've been on CoH/V for 30 months and I only played War Craft for about 10 min. before I got bored of it.

I've played SWG (pre & post NGE), EQOA, EQ2, GW, WOW, COH, DDO... Even Eve Online. The only game that meant anything to me was SWG and they blew that to hell when they turned it into a lame FPS.

I'm gonna try Star Gate Worlds... last I heard they were still in pre-production, but that was a while ago.

I would love a TF MMO:

Choose your Protoform: Slave or Gladiator
Choose your Exostructure: Beast or Machine, Land or Sea or Air (space later), etc.

Training Mission: You awake on Earth and instantly find yourself in the center of a fight for your allegence. From there, Faction points will be earned for every action and effect your presense among npc's (light spark/dark spark- think KOTOR2).

If you wanna wield Minicons (Also incorporates Headmasters, Powermasters, etc.) or have a "Super" mode, follow the appropiate Faction: Autobot or Decepticon. If you wanna Transmetal or Technorganic, complete Maximal or Predacon missions.

Energon is used for everything: Eating (healing), Shopping, Skills, etc.

Skills- All skills are available to everyone, Then you can just buy them up as high as you want. Depending on your protoform and/or exostructure you get discounts to certain skills.

I gotta run, If I come up with more i'll post it.

When I got CoV (I think) it came with a free trial of Star Wars Galaxy so I played that for about 9 hours, got bored, went out of town for a week and told my cousin he could use my free account and see if he liked it because I didn't.

Star Wars Galaxy, it's a nice game but there's not enough options to customize your own characters. When I first entered the game I saw about 6 other guys who looked exactly like me.

In CoH/V there's so many costume options and they're allways comming out with new ones, I never see copies of my characters.

It was the one where they found the wishing skull. Optimus was the truck that pulled the giant pillow on a flatbed trailer which the evil bunny stole to try to kill Pud'n.

...That sounded really strange.

The game is excellent. If you like the superhero culture, you'll like this. Both City of Heroes or City of Villains are stand alones or expansions of each other. If you only have one, you can't be the other (I recommend both anyway). Gameplay is pretty basic, but that's good, so learning to play will be very easy. There are literally thousands of different costume pieces to chose from, so what was said before about never seeing an exact copy of your character is true. You can also mix and match different powers depending on character type. So character creation has any other MMO beaten hands down. My only complaint is that the missions aren't all that different from each other. You'll find yourself doing the same things over and over again (but in a somewhat addicting way). I also wish they would up the max level, right now you top out at level 50.

Cool stuff. Don't even hesitate, you can buy the game at Wal-Mart for about 20 bucks now and you get your first month free, more than long enough to decide if you want to keep playing.
