Not sure if anybody already has a topic on this subject, but I was thumbing through the topic on dislikes and I realized that I've never really seen a topic on stuff you really really like about Transformers.

For me, I like the engineering behind the more intricate toys. Toys that actually have an interior (if their a car or jet)! I also like going back and looking at how they evolved from G1. Neat stuff.

The original (1984) Decepticons.

The concept. The fact that you never know if the vehicle passing you on the street is actually an artificial sentient alien life form, armed to the proverbial teeth.

I agree with tequila stu also. Just the idea that they could be among us is so cool. But of course I would love to know of their existance and get to see them and interact with them.

Detail, colour and shininess.

Also, they are there when no one else seems to care. Remember Terminator 2? The Terminator made a better father figure than many human men!

Furthermore, they show an alternative to life on Earth - they can build a super-advanced paradise or bring down total destruction in surprising new ways.

The G1 and Beast Wars, story and character development, to put it short. I like the Armada Starscream, too

the tiny chiselled faces of the earlier toys.

I really like their feet.... especially Seeker feet...

Fantastical beings duking it out for all to see? What's not to love?

Any robot that can turn into a jet is made of win.

dont forget the sound the originals made when they transformed

Most of all, the whole concept of cars, jets, guns, and stereos turning into robots is the coolest thing ever!

The great charecters it produced like Megatron, Optimus, Blaster, Soundwave, shockwave, Kup, Starscream, Rumble, Dinobot and Rat Trap in BW.

I like the fact you get a two-for-one...two toys in one.

The engineering behind many TFs is brilliant, and it teaches children problem-solving skills at an eraly age, something that is BADLY needed these days.

Plus, giant robots that beat the $*** out of each-other is always very, very, very cool.

Pretty much how I feel. I swear my car has a mind of it's own. If it were to change into a bot tomorrrow... well. That'd just be too cool.

I like lots of thing.

1) The basic stuff. Robot hidden among us, still battling after thousand of year is awesome.
2) Some caracter are simply cool.
3) Most cartoon villain can't even barely match the evilness of the two first Megatron. By that i mean G1 and BW
4) Its simply cool
5) Its amazing to see how ROBOT caracter can seem more human then other caracter.

I love that transforming sound, but I also love the human characteristics in them. Starscream is hilarious!

The concept as a whole.

Starscream and his hunger for power.
Prime and his ability to take one on the chin.
The making of the Dinobots.
And of course Soundwave.

The g1 toys;
Some really cool alt modes, especially autobots for me
Transformations help improve lateral thinking & motor skills
Awesome packaging

The g1 cartoon;
Pretty much taught me the difference between good and evil
