That honestly looks nothing like Rodimus. That thing looks like a Weenie-mobile wannabe.

The last one looks the best. It feels like what he is aiming for is taking the aerodynamic look of the "Streamliner" locomotives and using the look to achieve better fuel mileage for 18 wheelers.
The top two are still ugly though.

I just figured out what it looks like in the second pic!

Oohno, that's not Rodimus!
I know he was basically a camper van with flames, but what self respecting Autobot leader would have any of those for an alt mode? Ugh!

actually, rodimus' alt mode was based on a concept design by some company, winnebego ( i think thats how its spelled) I believe. I saw a few pics online, but i cannot recall what website it was from. Basically, there is a real version, sans pipes, out there somewhere.

Interesting fact...these trucks are up to 20% more efficient that regular trucks. Colani is even working on a new version that is even crazier looking and increases efficiency by 50% percent without evne touching the engine.

The last two pics are of the same thing.

I don't think calling him Roddy is going to help, though

You know everything I've read on this subject always seems to refer to this car as the inspiration for the design, whether you buy it or not...up to you.
Citroen Penthouse CX: anyone care to photoshop?!! (please vomit in the sick bags)

this is a winnebago, which was more of an inspiration for Rodimus than... whatever the heck those things are.

Yep, that's a winnibago alright, a very big photo of a Winny. lol
However, I was just saying that on the "literature" i've read on the subject, that Citroen keeps being mentioned. Besides, the Winny you posted is WAY newer than 1986.
It's all loosely based anyway...but regardless, Roddy has three axles, not two.
A 1986 C-class Winnie looks like a brick with an engine. Now, if you could combine the citroen with the Winnie....hmm

The Citroen penthouse kind of reminds me of Scamper (Metroplex's autonomous scout)

Penthouse is a completely inappropriate name for that car.

Well I like those designs.
I think they'd make a very cool Rodimus.

My Grandfather has a pretty good Winnebago that seems to look like a dirt brown Rodimus. I keep telling him I'm going to take it on Pimp My Ride, then he looses it and throws cushions at me. I'm going to paint it all red one day, put nice long chrome stacks in both sides going allllll the way to the top and stick a nice big Rodimus Flame on the hood. Then the coupe de grace will be the license plate that says "Chosen 1"

Intertesting, didn't know that rodimus was based off a winnie.
Those are nice shells. Last first or last would be nice for
the movie. Throw a new air pipe and filter, gas mileage on those
trucks are great, biodiesel is even nicer.
