As much as I like equating actors with their transformers connection..I always simply see Idol as a Monty Pythom player first and foremost. Much like Leonard Nemoy with star trek.
But, that doesn't stop me from closing my eyes when watching Judd Nelson in the Breakfast club, picturing Hot Rod in detention.

Funny, I watch the Transformers movie and close my eyes to picture the cast of the breakfast club in it. Molly Ringwall is a terrible Arcee BTW.

What does this have to do with Transformers? It's Eric Idol, he played a minor part in the movie, and didn't appear at all in the show.
Really, I only think the man as one of the Pythons. Not as Wreck-Gar.
