I hate that cheap animation. Unless the stories are great it'll be another series I don't watch.

Okay, don't judge me, but I think this has insane potential. I say that because the Teen Titans cartoon got the exact same critisism from hardcore Titans fans and they were ultimately won over for the most part. I happen to be one of those Teen Titans fans. I've kept up with the comics for about 10 years now, and I thought the toon was great and that the Transformers: Heroes show will be just as good. The Unicron Trilogy was total and absolute CRAP outside of the toys and I believe this will be a fantastic departure from that plotless Japanese rubbish.
Now, as for ideas, I'd expect exactly what they did with the Titans. Just a total revamping of an already known and established mythology. I can't freakin' wait. I mean, ya never know. They may redo the 86 movie within the show.

The same here.

Armada was rubbish.
Engeron got bad English dub.
Cybertron rocked.
My main gripe with Titans was trying to blend Batman Beyond and Justice League's style with anime action sequeces and had way too many lame comical anime facial expessions in it.
The Teen Titans wasn't a great show it was at best an above average show and really only towards the end. The main problem was the show's creators didn't know which way to take the show in a more serious direction or more comical and stupid direction, but even it best episodes pale in comparison to Justice Leage and JLU.

Dude, no doubt Teen Titans is comparable to JL or Batman Beyond, but it's still a fantastic show. It's just aimed at a younger age group, like the new TF show. Hasbro is just temporarily taking the role of the tobacco company and trying to hook these Transfans while they're young, and that's why they got the Titans animation team to do this new TF show. Dude, I really don't think we'll be disappointed with this show. Tell ya the truth, I'm actually a little more excited about this than I am the movie.

This series will be tied with the idea of the Thunder Cats revival as "Worst Re-imagination of an 80's toon."
Besides Hellboy and a few choice episodes of Teen Titans (The very Slade heavy ones) most of the series pumped out by that studio suckass.
I also really hate the animation style, with its wannabe anime styling.

I'm glad you are but I'm skeptical. I'm not a fan of most of CN's orginal shows (Foster's Home, Dexter's Lab, Powerpuff Girls, Ed, Edd, and Eddy, Samuri Jack, and the rest) becuase honestly Armada looked better than those shows.
The only orginal CN shows that I actually liked was Justice League, JLU, and Duck Dodgers. I can tolerate Krypto the Superdog and Teen Titans in small doses but they tend to get on my nerves after a while.

You mean that Thunder Cats thing wasn't a joke? I just died a little inside.
I liked Teen Titans for the most part, though there were some episodes that were just, well, all I can think to say is what the hell? Slade is one of the best villains ever, and if you disagree you're a puppy drowning mongoose faced sexualy depraved circus clown.

You don't like Ed, Edd and Eddy, Cyberstrike? It's friggin hilarious!
On topic: I'm still skeptical on what the Transformers would look like in this style. Maybe like RID?

I think this idea is a good revival of the "transfranchise". So it isn't what we are used to but i think it is worth a chance.
On a side note the only thing I might not want to see is that teen titans goofieness of character actions and expressions.

Teen Titans and The Batman are an insult to the Batman series of the 90's. Didn't realise Joel Schumacher did cartoons.
I'll give the TF cartoon a chance since it can't possibly be worse than the crap we,ve gotten over the past few years.

The thing I don't get is people are commenting on the story based on how Teen Ttians is written....We aren't getting the same writers for the new Transformers show. All we know is that the company who drew Titans and Fosters are doing this show. And look at both of those. The art style is insanely different from each other. Who's to say the new show won't look completely different from either? Titans had heavy anime influence because that is what Glen Murakami wanted in the show. It had nothing to do with how the show was animated.
What am I expecting from this show? Excellent fluid animation with new TF designs. Good voice actors reading for a show that is originally created for an English speaking audience. I can't wait to see this show so I can view something that hasn't been dubbed and in turn dumbed down because of it. Am I expecting something on the level of Beast Wars? Of course not. Because I doubt anything will compare to the story telling in that show.

I think Bruce Timm should do a Transformers series.
That would be 31 flavors of Awesome.

I couldn't agree more. Now if the by some insane super-crazy happenstance the animators do the writing, I believe we have a reason to panic.

Not really. Most of the actual stories were pretty damned cool. The Slade and Brother Blood ones especially.

I liked that arc as well. I just hated that Stephen Hawking voice they gave him. I couldn't understand what he was saying half the time.

I loved that emotionless drone he had, it gave him an evil edge.
But seriously, TF:HEROES will be great, maybe BW levels, but it will still be more compelling than most crap on the tube.

I think it will be a great show, with great VAs. If I were to pick a style of animation, I would love to see it done in the anime cut scenes from Energon. For example, the part where Megatron stabs and turns Inferno into a decepticon or when Shockblast is killed and you see a close up of a very awsome looking Megatrons face. That would have me feeling like a little kid all over again.

Just remembered another VA. Corey Burton. Another awesome voice in the cast.
So far we have roughly confirmed:
Megatron - Corey Burton
Optimus - David Kaye
Starscream - Tom Kenny
Siri - Tara Strong
That's honestly an insanely good list for a Transformers show. You have people from Superman TAS, Batman TAS, Spongebob Squarepants and Beast Wars.
I'll be watching for the voices alone not to mention the story if it's decent.

I'm really looking forward to this, i mean the last time Hasbro called the shots they did bloody great, and it will be nice to hear Kaye as Optimus
