A notice to all true fans

Are we fans of the toy, the character, the company, or the people who are responsible for bringing Transformers to us?
I, like many of you, have been an avid fan and collector since the early eighties, spending thousands of dollars over the years and bringing Transformers into my everyday life.
Hasbro has failed its employees in China and will not comment to the media or its fans.
We are the only ones who can bring improvement to the workers who actually make Transformers products. I will write more on this after I conduct more research on this matter and try to bring official comment to this site with the approval of site management. Please offer your thoughts.

All we could achieve would be to get the line cancelled due to bad sales.
No recall

What I meant by the post was not in any way a call to boycott. It has come to the medias recent attention that the worker conditions at the Chinese Hasbro facilities are horrible. Read more on it if you're interested.
Either way, if the fans don't speak up and get the attention of Hasbro, at least to provide comment to us, then we DO run the risk of the best quality product not coming to us.
The lack of comment to the fans is disrespectful, I understand why Hasbro China ( not Hasbro USA ) won't comment to the media, but this will lump them in with the multiple companies that are being targeted by the media, this is what will hurt Hasbro ultimately.
Please understand that all I am saying is that there are enough of us to warrant comment. We just have to ask that Hasbro China give some comment on the worker conditions, the media is about to throw them to the mainstream. Not me.

Should this really be in the transformers GD board? It kinda seems like it should be in the philosopher's forum or something...

That's a bit harsh, while I'm not about to rush over to China and clean up their factories for them they do deserve good working conditions. And remember if the company goes to hell, the toys go with them. Also if another company buys the license after Hasbro disappear into the depths, and they screw up everyting that you love, I'm sure you'd regret saying that.

I'm not a true fan, I am simply an "unevolved ape".
Oh and if you want people to actually have something serious to say, post links to these news reports about Hasbro's mistreatment of factory workers.

This topic is more for the Philosopher's forum, and there is a discussion on this already, as well.
