The kid seriously not only gripped the figure but tore it from your hands?? That is an undisciplined child.

This is the second time in 30 days that a poster has made Baby Jesus cry with his (or her) horrible lies.
Ash, are you the same person who tried to lie to the entire board about the same thing like a week or two ago?

Probably isn't the whole truth, but I have seen some pretty badly behaving kids. We had a bunch of ornaments this one christmas out by my deparment at my store. Some boy like ten or tweleve comes over, picks one up and starts pretending to pitch it. I told him to stop, his mother got mad at me and said that he was just praticing for his baseball or something.
I do know that kids can be pretty nasty and will take things. I had a little girl steal a toy I had in my cart once, I wound up letting her keep it becuase, try as her mother might, she wouldn't let go of the doll for some reason. Even though there were more over in the same asile. I got another one. *shrugs*

American society seems to be corrupting children of this generation with their political correctness. Everyone's so afraid of offending someone else, that no actions are ever taken when a child becomes a brat. My fiancee thinks when a child misbehaves, they should be given a choice, such as be good, and you'll get some ice cream. I think of it as bribery, and everytime the child is good, they'll expect a reward. What's wrong with a couple of warnings and a swift swat on the keyster? To each his own I guess.

No problem, You're welcome. Hopefully you learned something from this ordeal. Like eat cotton candy before you go
toy shopping so you're hands are nice and sticky and you don't
run into issues like this again.

most little kids these days are little sh*ts. The parents too. My GF actually gets mad at me when were out because I'll talk sh*t about it to her really loud. For example one night we were out shopping, (her clothes, me TF's) and I swear it was like I had a swarm of knee biters running around me at all times. Everytime I backed up or moved around it seemed like a little kid was there/running past/running into me. So after about 20 minutes of this, (these were different kids in different departments) I rather loudly said, "Sure would be nice if people could control their damn kids instead of letting them treat a store like a playground!" and my GF was embarrased. I didn't care though, shoppers and their kids can be really rude and annoying.
an example of annoying parents. Another time, (actually I think it was the same store, same night) the BIG MAIN aisle that runs through target was absolutely packed with 5 carts, turned sideways, and these ladies are all standing there talking and completely blocking the aisle from one side to the other, remember this was the one main aisle that runs through the store that all the smaller aisles are connected to. So my GF and I are coming up the aisle, and these dumb bitc*es SEE us walking towards them. Do they move their overloaded with bullsh*t carts? Do they stop their hand waving story telling time to be polite? Aw hell no. They just stood their, ignored us and kept right on talking. This is 5 carts practically nose to nose, there was no way around whatsoever. After about 30 seconds I walked into the middle of their little gossip group and rather dramatically put my foot at the spot where 2 of the carts were touching and shoved them out of the way, went back and got my cart and walked through them with my (again) embarrased GF. She said the only reason they didn't say sh*t to me was because I've got alot of tattoos. I would prefer to think they said nothing because they knew they were wrong.
I don't mean to be a dick, but damn I hate rude selfish people acting like the world belongs to them. These are the people who are raising these little shi**y kids who act like terrors yet the parents think can do no wrong.
Well parents, let me tell you, if you don't rein in your children and treat them to behave proper, one day they're gonna piss off the wrong person and probably get really hurt. And it's gonna be the parents fault because they never taught and enforced proper behavior.
Sorry, didn't mean to get off on a tanget. But I've been going to Targets, Walmarts, TRU, Kohls and everywhere I can think of every week looking for TF's, and I see this awful, awful behaviour in every store every single time I leave my house. It's disgusting. If it's not the kids it's the adults.

These are the reasons I seldom go out shopping before midnight.
When I do go toy hunting, it's usually before 2 pm, so I don't have to deal with friggin' children.
Of course, I never go to Wal-mart before midnight. That place is hellspawn incarnate. And reminds me why I hate society.
Anyway, I have a similar "I hate children" toy hunting story.
Several years ago, at a Kay-Bee Toys far far away. I was checking out their GI Joe/Mortal Kombat figures.
I found Subzero, Scorpion, and Smoke. I pulled them out to buy them, and some douche-bag little kid runs up grabs Sub-zero says "awesome Sub-zero" and runs to the checkout.
I stood there confused as to what the hell just happened. I would have told the kids parents, but it was too funny to bother with, plus, there was another Sub-zero at the back of the other figures hanging there.

I am reading through all these, and I am thinking, "Wow, these little kids are SO rude!" It I did the things when I was little that these kids of today are doing, I would have had my tush warmed and after we got home, sent to my room.

Especially if I grabbed something out of a stranger's hands. That is incredable that the parents do nothing when the kids do something like this, absolutely incredable! When I wqas younger, even strangers were allowed to spank another parent's kid if the kid was really rude to that stranger.
But then you will see these kids in ten years on one of those talk shows in an "Kids gone Bad" episode, and the parents will be crying on there saying "Why does he/she do these terrible things?" Weeellll, if you had disciplined them when they were little instead of trying to be a "friend" when they really needed a parent, you wouldn't be afraid of them as teenagers, now would ya?

Lol.
Todays little spitfire is tomorrows serial psychopath. People forget the little guys grow up and become the assholes we meet today.
Maybe the reason the parents these days do nothing is because they weren't raised right either? Immature minds procreating kids leads to immature kids and immature parents. Babys having babys and all that.

I'm a fairly new parent (my only son is 16 months old) and I'm scared to death by parents who don't discipline their children. If you don't establish early and clearly that you are in charge, they will never respect your authority.
As a child, my parents spanked me. I was a pretty good kid, but I knew that if I did wrong, I was going to pay. I'm thankful for those few occasions where my parents physically punished me. It was never abusive and it taught me that there are repercussions (sometimes severe) to behaving badly.
It's not fun to have to discipline your children, but I'll be d*mned if my kids act like the ones in these stories. If I found out that my child took anything that didn't belong to them, there would be h3ll to pay. As far as I'm concerned, something in someone's hands or cart is theirs, unless they put it back.
Sadly, it's the parents that must assume the responsibility for their children's behavior and many of them do not. We are a society that, in many cases, doesn't want responsibility in any sense of the word.
Very sad b/c it's people like that that ignorantly welcome dictatorships, communism, and cults - since those types of social orders absolve the individual from their responsibility, at the cost of their freedoms.

I wouldn't be surprised.

I think parents and kids are like owners and dogs. When the dog is a puppy, a lot of its behaviors (biting, jumping up on you, barking) look cute. The owner plays with it, overlooking these behaviors because they find them endearing, and even unknowing reinforcing them as they respond in a happy and jovial manner whenever the puppy does them. But they forget that puppies get bigger, and turn into dogs. What looked cute is now annoying, and even dangerous (in the case of biting.) Now the dog is confused because what it learned was "good" is now bringing them punishment. If the owner can't undo these behaviors in the dog, a lot of the time the dog gets sent to the pound. This is true for human children too. The parents think these bad behaviors are "cute," and when they fail to correct them while they are young (when its easiest) the children turn into adult jerks. What looked cute is now not so cute. And if the parents don't correct the kids, jail is where the kids will end up if they do something really bad.
This allowing of bad behavior is probably partially explained because simply the parents think their kid is the world. Anything against the kid, and the parents overrreact. They gets so filled with the idea that their kid is so special, so wonderful, that they get mad when something threatens that idea. They are told everyday by pop psychologists to espouse the idea that the kid be "allowed" to do this or that, and that a proper swat on the bum will end up damaging their self esteem.
I think thats what happened to Megatron. His mother wanted to be his "friend" instead of a parent so he would think she was "cool" and "with it" and his friends would think she was a "cool" mom. Thats probably why he's so bad. He never got a proper swat on his metal butt when it was timely

Except you need a license to own a dog,(and some breeds are becoming illegal to own) yet anyone can breed obnoxious children. Where is the sense in that?
If I acted like that as a child, my 5'2'' Mother would get the coal shovel out... We learned quick.

Let's just be straight up honest here. People are stupid. A kid misbehaves because a parent or other supervisual unit ALLOWS them to. Be it of fear, love or laziness, it's wrong. My daughter's 8 months old, and by the time she's two, she'll know better than to throw a fit, in public or out of it, or she doesn't EAT FOR THE NEXT EFFING WEEK! Well. Not that harsh. But daddy's got a paddle with her name already on it, and even has a happy clown face painted on it. That's right, psychological warfare at it's FINEST!
Parent's need to be ADULTS. Your kid calls you a (Witnessed this in a walmart recently) '**** bitch' because you won't buy him the Pokemon cards (four year old by the way) you don't tell him "Don't say that." You haul his ass into the most crowded isle you can find, and you pop him a good one, right in the teeth. BACK of the hand, DO IT RIGHT.
Everyone's afraid to do that now though, because someone will call CPS on them, or tell them they're horrible parents. NO! That's NOT how it works. You turn around, ball up your fist and say 'BITCH, YOU'RE NEXT!'
I love my daughter to death, but dammit, she will learn via quote 'negative reinforcement' because it's a proven method. 'Oh no... NOOO... people who were taught through violence ARE violent.' That's retarded. People who burn themselves on the stove learn that HEY! That thing's orange for a reason! it's HOT. But they don't necessarily turn into arsonists.
'You're an asshole.'
KABOOM!
I win, and I think you learned not to do that anymore. It's a win-win situation.
Dear lord, look at the time. My bad.
Long story not so short... hate the sinner, not the sin. The parents are the primary underlying reason that children become what they become.
And yeah... kids and toys... um, I hate when that... no.
PS

Megatron's mom was a total MILF. She didn't have to TRY to be cool. What was she thinking?

Yeah, I'd do Megs's mum if it weren't for the fact it's technically gerontrophilia.
