And by that, I mean, don't use it to rip on anyone in particular. What bothers me- people who allow the non-fans in their lives to stunt their collecting or whatever, you know, the occasional posters you get with "Oh, my wife/mother wasn't happy when I bought this!" IMO, who gives a crap? You worked for the money, you can blow the cash on whatever the hell you want. Now if you're blowing HER money, fair enough, But hell, my mum gets pissed off at me whenever I buy a new toy online or something. My response: "Pffft, STFU, you blow your money on getting you hair redone every two weeks. I'm in a job where I have to serve a pack of drooling idiots- I think I've EARNED these."

hmmmm...there are a few. I will generalise this to encompass everyone, not only fans.

I dislike people who cannot be arsed to put a polite warning that a subject is slash, or continually bring up slash comments at the slightest thing. I find it really perverse and creepy. If they like it fine, but please give a good warning in the subject.

I do dislike people who cannot accept that others may have a different point of view from them. This in itself sound hypocritical but I was taught to agree to disagree.

I dislike people who get very full of themselves or have snobbish highbrow airs--however, I dislike this in almost anyone.

I do like knowledgeable people who are willing to answer a question or two with a well thought out answer. Be this on line or those in the real world who stop to explain to someone should they ask.

I think that covers it for now. These are my personal opinions.

Slash? Meaning?

Slash fics are fan fiction that deals with homosexuality. Some people are into that sort of thing, others, myself included can't stand it. In anime fan fiction, it comes in two forms, Yoai (boys) and Yuri (girls).

Ah, right. They make those with transformers? That's ****ing creepy. Anyone writing that crap REALLY need lives. Another thing that anoys me- people who talk about how "hot" Transformers characters are. I mean, it's like, hello, one: They're robots. 2, they're cartoon characters. and 3, their 'charactesr' are made to get kids to buy them, and in comics, to get the readers into the comics, not for people to fawn over. I don't understand how people can openly admit they have a thing for cartoon characters. It's sick, and it's creepy.

also I'd like to point out that disliking slash doesn't make a person homophobic...It just means I don't like reading about it. Likely true for others as well. I've been called that despite knowing a number of people who align that way as well as family members.

Yeah, they do it with almost everything. I just don't care if they want to write it. Just mark it so others don't have to read it.

Yeah, it's not a case of homophobia though. The fact people are even thinking that way about cartoon characters is just not right.

Well I would write a fic with male female relationship (not detailed though. I don't care to write porn).

Meh, transformers has always generally been about action, so that's the way I try to keep my fanfics. Either that, or comedy.

There's action and there's action. Not all people like the same kind of TFs wrestling with each other.

I think it is kind of weird myself with fangirls but now I'm just being hipicitical because I am one myself I think as long as they don't ramble on about it for hours on end and just a post or two is fine.Totally obsessed fangirls are the ones you have to BEWAR of.

Oh my fics are...this is action in it, I am thinking of my first one. But it has a long story line, lots of science and whatnot. It is Post Starscream's ghost. In there is a femcon who is interested in Starscream, but they don't exactly get along so never go out. That's still a relationship--albeit, not good.

The fic is not constant action, it comes in in spots.

I have written several fics, Action, mystery, Crossover ,comedy, tradgedy...apparently a mild horror and such. I am not interested in writing romance. I sometimes get a "what if" idea and write that.

I am a totally Obsessed Starscream fangirl, so most of my fics actually surround him in one way or another.

Jumping to conclusions about figures they do not own.

I hate this conversation:

"That figure is garbage. It's for kids and totally unrealistic"

Me: "Do you own it?"

"No..but.."

:-x

I don't really mind slash, because in canon tf's have girlfriends since there are so few femmes the ones without girlfriends are bound to get lonely right? Why couldnt they have boyfriends? But I'm not here to defend slash. I'm here to complain about stuff...rantage ahead

Mary Sues-they anger me to no end! I don't care about your new seeker that's part of a gestalt that interfaces with ever canon character ever. I'm not saying all oc's are bad, but many have kinda ruined the experence for me.

Sticky fic- a subgroup of slash this is where Tf's have human genitalia usually for no reason. WHY!?!?!

Self Righteousness/trying to force opinions on others- It's not enough that someone dislikes TF slash, transbeauties, or smexy pics of Arcee. No, they have to tell everyone who likes it why it is wrong, immoral, gross ect. I don't care if you don't like it, but dont tell me I shouldn't either. I dont wanna read like a five page essay on why you KNOW tf animated will suck and why I should think it will suck too.

The fact that every time I go to wallmart they’re out of Robot Heroes infuriates me to no end.

And just throwing this out there but I found Hearts of Steel very disappointing.

I had a lot to bitch about wow... :P

I'm with you, especially on the Robot Heroes part, only one shop still has them (lots of the first wave ones I bought four months ago). I'm starting to think about expensive measures (which would be easier to think about, if it weren't for the fact that I already own two of the second sets and am not particularily interested in getting them twice).

Another thing that annoys me- People who have to apply logical meanning to everything. I mean, it's a line aimed at kids FFS, it doesn't matter if you don't like the logical impossibility or not, because it's not aimed at you.

I'm with you Sarri and LicoriceSnoCone I have yet to find a Hot Rod with Insecticon, Grimlock and Shockwave, and Bumblebee and Barricade oh no more Bumblebee and Soundwave either but I've already got that one :P...

What about fans that annoy me?

The fans.

No, I'm not kidding. There's a positive and a negative to all of them but generally all I see lately is a million negatives and they're building more and more.

I concur. Too much selfishness amongst adult Transformers fans, IMO, who forget that Transformres IS still marketted at kids.

Another thing that annoys me is when this Raesnoangel character practically beats the crap outta me when I *rearrange* all her lil' robot heroes so they're in compromising positions.

Hey Rae, MAKEOUT!

I can't stand the fans who constantly throw obscure Japanese comics in your face. I'm a die hard G1er cartoon only. I sorta liked Armada and the movie was ok but I don't care for anything else. Don't try to make me like anything else and don't tell me I'm stupid for not knowing something only five people on this planet are aware of exists. I had a few G1 comics as a kid and wasn't really into them and I don't care to get into them now. You've got your thing and I've got mine.

I mostly agree with you about the Mary-Sues they annoy me too. I don't mind if they're Seekers -as I really like them- but I don't like it when they are super perfect. When the fanfics get really mystical and the Seekers got magical superpowers and its on Cybertron, then I don't like the story. Its too Sueish.

I don't like it when I am reading a fanfic, and they never warn you that it contains slash or some sexual stuff that is a tad graphic. I would be reading a fanfic, and it would be really good, and then suddenly you come across in the story about how much Megatron finds Starscream really sexy. And I'm like "Hello!"

I don't appriciate you messing with my figurines making them look like they are having a make-out party or doing it!!!!!!!!!!!IT PISSES ME OFF! oh and LicoriceSnoCone you shouldn't give spacific names it makes you look like a douche.I will have my revenge expect to have a missplacement of your Ultra Magnus maybe given to your cousin or chewed up by your gay dog or melted on some pavement  I'll be more crafty though!bwa ha ha

You know what annoys me? Members who love to pick on people just because they made a few mistakes (and those "pickers" did not bother to tell them what are the mistakes) or just because they are different. And by pick on, I meant using that four letter word which is extremely insulting: Noob

Just because someone is a noob, does not mean you should say it out loud in an offensive way. If you say it in a joking-kind of way by adding the initials, "JK" at the end of your sentence, it might sound nicer. Calling someone a noob is like calling someone fat, but it is okay to call someone fat, just the way you called him fat matters. :)

I've never been called a noob and I'd hate to be called one but now lil LicoriceSnoCone will come along this thread again 8-| ...this is what I want to happen to her :BOOM: or this is what I'd like to do to LicoriceSnoCone :HEADHURTS: but really that is what they are doing to me hear that LicoriceSnoCone you win happy! what also ticks me off is when people get carried away when they defend their opinion.

They feel that if someone doesn't agree with them then they are stupid...or noobs...or retardicons and so on!
