they be, how many would there be, and
what would be their name?
Personally I would love to see the dino-bots
combine into one ultimate dino-bot named
Crushinator!!!
(yeah I know I stole it from Futurama,
I was watchin it last night

Well I always want to see Optimus Prime and Rodimus Prime combine.......and I once made a custon out of some extra Stunticons and Protectabots I had and turned them into what I called Alpha Prime.

Given a choice I would have Fort Max as torso, Defensor and Superion as arms. Bruticus and Menasor as legs. Metroplex as additional shoulder/arm-mounted weapons.

That was not offical book it came with a DVD box set of season 2 and was more of a fan fic, and the toys never did that.

Actully no they can't. Neither the toys, cartoon, or comic book versions of the Dinobots ever combined.
Allthough I've never seen that art before the Dinobots only combined form has been a kit bash like Alternator Menasaur.
It may have allso been in a fan fiction.
Either way non of this is cannon. Combining Dinobots is just a thing fans have been making up for years.
And what I'd like to know is why has no one turned the Inseticons into a combiner? Is it because offically there's only really 3 of them?

Actually there were 7 or them but we only see 3 in the G1 toon.

To be fair, the one that combines with Rodimus (or any of the other deluxes) doesn't have Power Ranger limbs. He is still a bit fat though.
