Well both the movie and the announcement of animated stirred my interest in transformers again, so I looked for a good resource of TF picture galleries and such.

Obviously Seibertron is the site I found first.
Didn't join the forums till a couple weeks after that though.

I joined Seibertron because the movie revived my interest in them and because I was asking for help identifying old TFs of mine.

Well, I talked to people on Rotten Tomatoes about the movie, then when that forum died (considering that this is just a movie website) I wanted to find somewhere else that was all about Transformers. So here I am.

But yes, the movie directly influenced it.

I want to say no but the movie did re spark my interest in transformers. I am to young to have watched G1 the first time but I watched beast wars everyday after school.

(I do own G1 and have watch it in its entirety but Beast wars was my first experience.)

I'm actually just crawling back to my transformers fanaticism after (again) becoming bored with MMO gaming. The movie had little to do with it.

My wife tells me Transformers are silly. But she LOVED the movie. I dont get it. I joined the forum to yap about Transformers cause thier freakin rad :lol:

And mabey influence some of the older fans to come see me for Transformers tattoos. :-P

I am glad to see that the movie has braught back the interest in many of you. it is cool to see the fandom grow from those of the past, and people who are just completely new to the fandom.

Hmmm did I join because of the movie... I don't think so, at least not directly. I had been lurking here for close to a year but I didn't have anything to add. (Still not sure I do

) I read a bit but avoided anything movie related, I hate spoilers. I was really just reading to learn about some of the characters I had loved as a kid.

I hadn't collected any toys for years. I happened across some GI Joe Sigma 6 figures and that lead me to a Joe site, that led here after a conversation about TF and I had some questions and got nudged here by someone there. Then almost a year later I stumbled into a Classic Transformers figure through a trade. It was pretty fun to have one laying around and standing on the shelf so I agreed to another trade and another until I was suddenly only a few figures short of the complete collection so I logged in to try and finish up my collection.

The movie was a part of revitalizing my interest in some way but I wouldn't have ever logged in for the movie... That's not to say I didn't love the movie. It was without a doubt one of the two best movies of the summer.

I'll shut up now, I tend to ramble when I'm bored. :oops:

I joined this forum beacuse I felt like I really didn't fit in at the other forum I belonged to Transfans.net. but the announcement of the movie did make me want to join a forum, but by no means did it respark my intrest in i've been a die hard fan most all my life.

I found this site at the beginning of last year by doing a google image search for Classics Rodimus. Then I started going to the site every day for news or just to browse the galleries.

I didn't start using the forums until the movie figures came out. I had been reading posts to see when people were seeing figures and decided to start posting myself to report a sighting of the much-prized Concept Bumblebee.

I found this site while searching for info about the movie and some of the figurines. I've been a TF fan since I was a kid, but have become an even bigger fan because of the movie. Also, I love collecting the TF figurines!

I joined the site because I have been seeking a decent Transformers site for years...I have been a fan since 1984..and, since the movie, a lot of the decent sites have come to light
