They did it for The Evil Dead...
They did it for Monty Python and the Holy Grail...
They did it for The Wedding Singer...
Now they did it for The Transformers a musical has been green lighted. What would you like to see happen? What charectors should be there? Who should have thier own song? What Storyline How should they do costume? Who should play who? What kind of music?

the concept of Starscream singing blows my mind and terrifies me at the same time... Reminds me of something some friends of mine said in elementry.

A group of boys said Transformers sing better then Jem and we all burst out laughing because we just couldn't see it.

I liked the Misfits songs better anyway.

I think they should get Wierd Al to write the musical numbers.
Jazz could probably sing.
Sadly, I cant picture Megatron singing...uhhh, actually I think I just did.
Can we get a Junkion Chorus Line?
StarScream, well the thought of his singing brings to mind cats howling on a fence.

If they had the play in toronto, I would have to go because my curiosity would be too hard to put down.

I cannot imagine, where did you find this out? Got a link to it?

I have to assume it's a "what if" scenario, just because I really, honestly cannot imagine such a thing happening in real life. Why am I suddenly imagining the musical Futurama episode starring robot satan?

A junkion chorus line *would* be pretty sweet, though. :P

This remembers me of a photocomic I once found on the net.
It was all old G1 toys singing the 80's movie story!
I must find that!

Just an idea i had for a while. It's sort of an idea I came up one day while bored.
The Musical opens with a human singer singing the song "Till all are one." While behind him the shadows tell the story of the matrix of leadership.

Then opens on the Autobot City. Where Prime's wedding preperations are going on.
Elita One arrives for her wedding to prime and She brings along with her bots Arcee.
Elita and Prime know this is suppost to be a poltical marriage but She still rememebers him as Orian Pax. and he remembers her as Ariel.
Prowl comes in with his second in second command HotRod who is more trouble to Prowl than he is worth. Hot rod acts like Prowls manservant. And When Prowl finds out he is to be married to Arcee so she can be the second in command of thebots as well and Hot Rod she finds more fun than him.
after the weddings and Prime is dead. Arcee Distrought has her shining moment and a song called "Desire" In it she sings about the lonly humans like her who lost all that they loved. And what she must belive in is in her growing desire in her heart for what she wants and not what a leader wants.
as they go off to space. Hot Rod;s song tellsher to join him in the fight and she begins to fall in love with him.

Megatron meawile is reborn as galvatron. In his Song "Revenge." He tells of how he will destory the matrix of leadership and the autobots.

At Starscreams Corination scene:
after much Pomp and Cuircumstance with a erie creeepy song warning starscream not to take his postion as leader from his other decepitcons.
Gavlatron arrives kills him and takes over as leader.

that is what I have so far.

Are you serious??? I can't wait till the show comes off Broadway. No way SRT will do the show if it's still on Broadway.

Neil Young will do the music. We'll call it "Cosmic Rust Never Sleeps".

Humm, but if Wierd Al was in it wouldn't it be a polka instead of a chorus line?

Or should G1 be skipped entirely in favor of BeastWars?
Now RatTrap singing and dancing that I can picture.

Or make it a holiday show... Transformers on Ice - The Autobots save Christmas... The evil Decepticons have stolen all the new toys to auction them off on e-bay for big bucks.. With the finale' being Soundwave "singing" Silent Night and then he shuts himself off and the show ends...

I think the Musical should just be Jazz, Blaster, Soudwave, and other misc. Cassets
