I have the original soundtrack and the original soundtrack and score (which has all of the music from the movie).

My favorite song from the soundtrack is Instruments Of Destruction.

It's clichéd, but it's gotta be The Touch for me. It's good running music - it makes you fel like you're in an 80's montage scene like Rocky or something

I absolutely love "The Enemy Revelaed" (Unicron's Theme), "Autobot/Decepticon Battle", & the Decepticon's Theme that was unused. I got a little tired of "The Touch " after a while...............

Well, I'm not surprised I'm the first to say it but "Dare to be Stupid" by Weird Al Yankovic. I love that song. Not so much in the movie but as a stand alone song. I was a HUGE Weird Al fan back then (I still have all of the tapes of his that I bought as a kid) and when the wonderful world of TFs collided with the strange dimension of Weird Al... it was one of the happiest moments a kid like me could have.

Instruments of destruction, Coronation, The enemy revealed and I think it's called Their darkest hour. (the part when Galvatron taunts Rod, saying he lacks even Prime's courage. That organ part at the end sends shivers down my spine, it portrays Galvatron's raw power so well.)

There were a few good songs on the album...

"The Touch" and "Dare" by Stan Bush

but it's really hard for me to like Instruments of Destruction...NRG is a ripoff of Megadeth, even if the song is good..

I'd much rather listen to Shockwave

I think Instruments of Destruction is probably the best thing on there. Unicron's theme is really good. Dare is infectiously upbeat. Dare to Be Stupid I've liked longer than I've liked Transformers, I think.

Am I the only person who thinks "Coronation" is the worst track on there? the synth horns make my skin crawl.

Good god its impossible to choose... so much cheesy hair metal goodness...

1. The Touch - As its the soundtrack of many drunken walks home from the pub...

2. Transformers Theme - For the LUDICROUS guitar solo(s)...

3. Dare - Catchy as hell despite the horrible 80s synths and production...

4. Instruments of Destruction - Waaay too hardcore for a kids cartoon, especially as its the soundtrack to Prowl dying horrifically...

5. Nothings Gonna Stand in Our Way - For nothing else but that harmony at the end - so awful its great... (oh and maybe because they changed their name to 'Kick Axe' too... :lol:

)

Damn I miss my copy of that CD... :sad:

I find it really hard to pick a favorite. I do love "The Touch". "Instruments of Destruction" is an awesome song for the 'cons. I like "Dare", and "Dare to be Stupid" cracks me up everytime. Really though, I have to say I love the theme song by Lion the most.
