He is a seller on eBay that has a sh*t load of in-good-condition TFs including G1 Mgatron. IN his pic of it it has an orange tip, and I wrote to him over 2 months ago and have been asing if it could come off. AAnd he hasn't responded. Has anyone ver dealt with him/know him/is friends with him/before?

I would really like to get it since it is one of the few still on eBay...

just bought a fist for SS from him last week. Had no problems at all

Could someone possibly write to him for me asking that? I am beginning to think for some reason my avvount's emails aren't reaching him...

Is this what you are looking at http://cgi.ebay.com/Megatron-Original-V ... dZViewItem . Ebay rule says they have to put something on the end to show that its not a real gun or something to that extent, looking at the pic it looks like a highlighter cap just put there so he follows the rules.

He can't respond to you via eBay and say that'll come off. However, I'm pretty sure it will. I can tell ya, straight up, that that "Cap" is a dry erase marker cap. 20 to 1, he just used it as a prop to sell it through eBay, I doubt, it would even come with it.

I have dealt with him on and off ebay and he is fantastic to deal with.

I've done a lot of buisness with him and have had nothing but great experiences.

It's a pen lid. If it's even attached at all when you get it, it'll come off.

I dunno. I'm just so frickin worried that I am gonna get it, I try and take it off, and it breaks, and I can't return it.

Can anyone write to him on a site other than eBay and ask him this?

Plus, I am going to want to remove the squiggly line decals on his chest. How would I do this? I am worried about damaging the chrome.

I can tell you I have bought off him once.
He offered up a pic of a lot, which I won,
and the items turned out to be worse off than
the picture made them appear.
Odds are he won't write you back
and he never gave me feedback.
That was the only and last time that dude will get my cash.
I don't care what he is selling.
To each his own though. If the rest of you
have had pleasant exchanges with him
maybe I was the exception.

I've dealt with him on Ebay and it was a good experience. He's usually good with communication too, could possibly be too busy IRL to respond. Hard to say.

From what i've heard, I'm surprised he actually responded. However, he is one of those topics that makes you wish the search button worked. There has been a great deal of debate, here as well as other sites, as to wheter or not he is a credible source. From what i have read, i would not deal with him outside of buying accessories, but thats me.

I've never had a problem with him. However, I have only bought accessories form him.

The real problem is, he can't tell you the cap will come off. He has no way of knowing if someone who asks is the Feds or working undercover for eBay.

So as a seller, he has to deny that it'll come off. However, as we are all smart individuals, we know that the cap will come off.

OK, worst case scenario...

The Dry Erase marker cap was Superglued on the end of the barrel for Megatron.

Let's find a way to get it off.

If there are no problems, they guy's auctions and prices are good.

Any little hang up though and you'll get treated like crap.

He sent me a 100% Pretender with no robot in the shell. Inferred that I was scamming him, but eventually sent a bot to go along with it.

Did you write to him through eBay?

So does that mean the cap won't come off?

I delt with this guy a while ago. He's on the up and up. I always see his name when I'm looking around so that in itself inspires confidance.
