I put Starscream in my Flight sim

I just added Starscream to my MFS 2004 (flight sim) and thought I would share.

I didn't make this repaint, I just added it into my game.

Sorry for the bad vid quality, I was flying, and holding my cam at the same time along with it...

He has a functioning flight panel, afterburners that change color at high altitude, working light and landing gear as well.
Oh yeah the cockpit opens up, and he can have 0, 1, 2 or 3 drop tanks...

I think there is a Skywarp, if there is I will put him on it and upload the vid tomorrow.

The Game is Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004. I had it for a while, and its not a combat sim, but I bet the plane would work on Microsofts combat sims as well.

Its just a texture you add onto a certain F15 file that you also need to download off the net, if you need the links (after you get the game) I can post them.

Where did you download that model from?

The color looks a little off to me but Starscream's coloring was allways a little funky. It looks like he has more red in robot mode than vehicle. Has anyone else ever noticed that?

He is actually very well done (by his creator for this game) the guy did great, but my camera sucks.

Here is a link to the StarScream file.
You will need to know how to edit your sim and you will also have to download a certain F15 before installing the Starscream file.

First download the CORAL F-15
Then you have to install it. (I think it is self extracting)

Its the 3rd file down (Download Coral F15) Size is a little over 10 mb.
http://www.simviation.com/fs2004military79.htm

Then download the Starscream texture. The best way to install him, is to replace any one of the Coral F15 textures. So go into the Flight sim "AIRCRAFT" foler then find your Coral f15 and then into its Texture folder (any one of them). Then delete the files within that folder (only delete the file in one texture folder). Then copy the files from the StarScream folder into it. Thats it... Sounds hard but if you need help just ask.

Here is Starscream. (2nd folder down, DO NOT install the top folder its garbage and for a different F15)

It looks like I have to register on that site before it'll let me download anything. I can't even view the page.

Oh oops, well you can register free I think, I never paid. Oh and I never had any trouble with any of the file there(bad files or a virus), and I have downloaded well over 100 planes from there.

That looks cool. I think I'll recolour him into Skywarp.

I found a Skywarp, but the problem is the jet he goes onto is not free to download. The seller wants like $45.00 USD for it and I'm not about to pay that for one plane. The Skywarp looks just as good as the Starscream though if not better.

I though skywarp was purplee-er, but, still, it's cool...minus the paying part.

That's too much. Better buy Transformers The Game instead.

I think what I'm going to do is just make one, all I need is one texture to repaint and then repaint it (for the same F15 that was used for Starscream). I will see how it goes and will post again soon :)

For anyone interested I did a quick recolour of the Starscream skin into Skywarp. I was quite disappointed that the skin is actually quite low quality, so I've done this one until a better quality base skin is found.

Here are the links to the textures:

Hey Skywarp worked, well done!

I installed him on my coral (the maker) F15 and he looks killer.
