First off, sorry if this one's been done already.
So I was thinking the other day, that Transformers is a universe populated by a rich assortment of personalities. With a 25 year history, comics, toons, and other medias, there has to be one character that you can identify with on some level.
I have always loved Optimus Prime as a character. Some will say that he is too static, or too much of a goody-goody. But you have to admit that there are really no characters like him on cartoons or TV anymore. We've opted for the flawed hero instead, because of their depth and inner conflicts, they seem more "realistic". But as far as I see it, there has never been a hero that has encompassed what it is to be good and right like Optimus.
But Optimus ISN'T my choice. My character is Ultra Magnus. He has spent his entire life dedicated to the same fight and causes as Optimus, but is plagued by self doubt, and the burden of holding the fates of others in his hands. The way I see it, he is happily content to be the best soldier that he can be. He is reliable, honest , courageous, and responsible. But for some reason he just isn't comfortable as the head honcho.
For as long as I can remember, I've always been a candidate for promotion at any of my jobs. I work really hard, get along well with others, don't complain, and get the job done. But for some reason when it comes time to be promoted into upper management, it just doesn't feel right to me. I'm just fine with being a great "sergeant" or "lieutenant". But the thought of being the babysitter of dozens of people has stopped me from going any higher.
As it sits right now, I'm a warehouse manager, with very few staff. I run a good, clean operation, and I'm very happy with it. I can't help but to think that good old Magnus would have felt the same way.

I would probably make an excellent Dead End. I'm just that sort of person.

I'd say I identify most with Perceptor:
I'm insatiably curious about everything; get excited over nerdy topics that most other people find boring; and whenever I open my mouth in the hopes of providing communication and/or enlightenment about whatever new and cool thing I've discovered, people generally either experience their eyes glazing over or ignore me completely.
I used to also utilize a large number of "ten-dollar" words when I was a teenager (much to the general eye-rolling of my friends), but my current speech patterns have simplified over the years... a little.
There are some differences; Perceptor seems to be more cheerful and possess more self-confidence than I do, and seems relatively unbothered by the fact that his intelligence isolates him from everyone else (since he'd rather stay in his lab anyway).
I also identify somewhat with Silverbolt... having to face your fears and inner demons to do what needs to be done, and trying to be responsible and effective while working with a group of difficult co-workers. I suppose that explains why Perceptor and Silverbolt are my two favorite Autobots.

I'm a Trailbreaker, much as I hate to admit. Often, I don't feel I have much to offer a group, regardless of whether it's actually the case or not. In conversation, my contributions are normally brief and not very deep, often aimed to be humorous.
I'm one of the first to offer my seat to someone else, whether it be in a social setting or online. Actually another friend of mine and I used to have competitions in one online game we played, to see who could drop group faster to make room for a more-needed character class.

Hot Rod.
Maybe not be the most skilled or strongest, but loyal and able to deliver. Sometimes do things in my own way. Values freedom. Genuine concern for the welfare of others.

I'm not too fond of Rattrap, but I'm quite similiar to him in the sense that we're both really pessimistic and paranoid.

I would say a mix of Rattrap and BW Rampage.
Rattrap because I'm a pessimist, always looking for what could go wrong, and I blend into the background, letting me sneak around very easily. It's been useful on more than one occasion.
Lately, I've been sort of a Rampage as well. My agression is getting harder for me to control, I'm getting increasingly paranoid and people think I'm wierd, just because I don't act the way they do. A deeply misunderstood soul who enjoys pain and watching things explode violently. People have said I'm somewhat sadistic (it's true) and when I'm hyper, I even laugh a little like him.

I'm a Beachcomber!
I don't like him but I'm still like him.
I am not a aggressive nature, I always try not to fight, but if I have to I will and will do it properly!

Starscream is definantely one of my favorite characters, but the TF that I personally fell closest to is Hot Shot.
He's funny, brave, loyal, cute, and adventurous all rolled into one firey yellow little upstart...
He screws up sometimes like me, but he always makes up for it.
I love him a lot!!

When I was younger it was Bumblebee, but now I'd have to say Ultra Magnus due to my Marine status and serious nature when in uniform.

I think I would be Bumblebee in a lot of my personality. I like to be a good person but I am also a bit mischievious too.
And also I would have some of Skywarp. I am a loner, I can have a bit of a temper at times and I can also be a bit confused. People say "Do this!" or "Do that!" and I would be like, "Huh?"
Plus he is also mischievious, so that fits too with the other one.

I have a similar personality to Prowl. I am super patient and more of a listener than a talker. It takes a lot to get me angry. I have been told that I have a temper. I also have some aspects to Wheeljack because some people ask me to fix their situation with their computer and/or printer.

Even as a kid, I always identified with Beachcomber. Although his character was not in many shows or comics, it was enough to see he was loyal to his beliefs and love for the natural world. He loved to explore new places, protect natural resources, and was content exploring and studying the world by himself.
Somedays I feel grumpy like Gears.

I took 2 G1 quizzes. The first one came out as Megs, the second as Galvatron. Coincidence? Perhaps. Perhaps not.
