Today I got a very mint blitzwing and astrotrain. I was sitting at my desk looking at my new additions and I started tranforming astrotrain (childhood memories flying through my head) and my wife says to me, "Did you just make a noise?" Right away I think son of a bitch, I just got caught making the tranforming sound while transforming astrotrain, I said "yeah." Then she says "You'll never grow up, will you?" I say to myself "probably not"

Just remember, kids, theres a fine line between "I don't wanna grow up", and "SHAMON! EE-HEE!" And moonwalking.
This has been a public service announcement from the "Don't turn out like the singer of Thriller" foundation, reminding you that if you start to be "Bad", Once we ring the Police, they'll Want to be Starting something. *Thumbs up*

Mate, I'm 21 and I *love* playing with my TFs. That's what they're meant for after all, not to sit in a box on a shelf and be bragged about

I make the sound all the time, even when not transforming them; just thinking about them. I guess I'm just a TF mark.

Rock on with the tranforming-noice-making!! The world would be a better place if people remembered to lighten up a bit and have fun...basically, being a kid again! I am 37 yrs old, and get chided by my friends all the time for buying and playing with toys! But, it never fails with them...when they think I am not around, I have seen ALL of my friends pick up and mess with one or more of my toys..and actually enjoy it! Seen them actually make "pretend" with em too! It's hilarious to bust em!
Screw what others think and JUST HAVE FUN!

That is the greatest thing in the world. I don't have any toys myself, but I will always take inanimate objects and swing them around when making the lightsaber whizzing sound. I need me some toys...

The Transforming sound is quite possibly the best sound effect for anything ever. I use it all the time. In fact I'm probably doing it as you read this, and my wife is probably wondering why clear my throat so much. She probably thinks I sit around working up loogies. Little does she know, I'm caught in a time warp.

My 65 year old Aunt quite often makes racecar noises when she drives, haha. She rules!
I can't say I have made the transform noise while handling a figure, but I could see it happening. I'm 29.

I forgot we bought Megatron some batteries. To my embarassment, he announced "Decepticons Attack!" last week while I had him outside to take a picture.
I got over being embarrased quite quickly. These things are addicting. The flak that I get is from my kids saying that I transform them wrong.

I still make the sound effects when I play with em.
I also make the Star Trek 'woosh' sound when I go through automatic doors sometimes.

Here is a good laugh. Last night my mindstorms robot team kids got into my transformers and decided to call me Megatron (Appropriate for the coach I suppose). They all picked transformer names for themselves. At the tournament today, I would say: Team are you ready? and they would reply with "Yes, Megatron, sir".
It was weird to call the kids Starscream, Optimus Prime and Tidalwave.
When I came home I just felt I had to make the transforming sound with the voice changer. All in all a good day.

I make the transforming sound all the time when I'm transforming them. It's just a part of being a kid inside. And I plan on being a kid at heart for a very long time. It's just fun. And fun is a good thing last I looked. It doesn't matter how old you are, I'm 17 & I love playing w/TFs.
