Weird Crossover idea for Transformers

People have sugested crossovers before but no one has really touch the subject of animation styal.

Right now we have a few different animation styals for the transformers.

1. Original: This is the original version of Transformers includeing the normal looking humans and boxy 2D Transformers.

2. Early CGI: This is the first few seasons of Beast Wars where if you look closely you'll see that their parts will offten pass through eachother. There were lots of "clipping" issues with the CGI at first.

3. CGI 2.0: The kind you'd notice in Beast Machines where the Transformers now have optics that actully look like eyes rathers than glowing but solid looking optics.

4. Anime: The Spiky haired humans and... other than long transformation sequences is there really any difference between a G1, a RID, and a Armada Transformer?

5. CGI Anime Styal: This is of course that weird mix of CGI and Anime from Energon and Cybertron.

6. CGI Real World: Transformers Movie, the mix of CGI and real life vehicles and set props.

And finally...

7. I don't know what to call this other than "Kiddy Styal": That's the Transformers Animated animation styal.

Now with Beast Wars they actully did bring the G1 transformers into the series as CGI characters. I don't know about you, maybe it's just because I'm so use to seeing them as 2D, I don't know but the G1 characters didn't really look right in CGI.

Energon and Cybertron's CGI characters acting on a 2D backround doesn't really look right to me either.

So here's an intersting question for you. If an "All Universe" crossover were ever to be made witch do you think would actully look the best?

Would you...

A. Set the entire crossover in a single animation styal? (If so what styal and why?)

or

B. Crazy Crossover styal where everyone retains the animation styal they originally appeared in. (This would mean 2D and 3D Transformers would be interacting with eachother and realistic animated humans, Anime Styal Humans, and real people would all be interacting with eachother.)

I'd love to see a Justice League/ Transformers crossover, with the transformers done by Bruce Timm

Um... that wasn't an option. This protains to Transformers crossing over to other Transformer universes not to other cartoons entirely.

Hm, if there was an all universe crossover, I'd prefer a cel shaded animation style, like RiD, Armada, where all the bots are more detailed, but I'd rather if the humans looked less anime. No more bug eyed kids.

OK but which version? I listed 4 different styals of CGI.

Early Beast Wars (Clipping issues and all)

Beast Machines (This means actuall eye's with detail, not solid colors.)

Anime (The mix in of CGI characters on a 2D Backround)

or Live Action (The mix of CGI with real world set props.)

I'd say the 07 CGI style (you're spelling it wrong) or the Armada animation, minus the near-impossible, gravity defying hairstyles.

Whoops, my bad.
I'd like to see it CG'd by Mainframe. They're character models have always impressed me, and I'd like to see what they would do with better technology and bigger budget.

That comment made me laugh.

I hate thoughs hairstyles but they actully ARE possible to do.

All you need is long hair and a bottal of elmers glue in place of hair gel. (or skip the hair gel all together and just stick your finger in a light socket. )

I'm so tempted to do this now. (Not stick my finger in a light socket, give me a little more credit!) I'll just have to find some heavy duty hair gel. Anyone know of any brands that can hold up long hair all day long? My hair's halfway down my back and if I can spike it up I'll post a pic. Gimmee some suggestions as to who's hair I should copy for the actual spiking.

I hate the series but if you feel like dyeing your hair, do Yu gi oh.

I wasn't kidding about the glue though. I actully know people who spiked their hair in high shchool and they literally used elmers glue.

Now if only I had the money. I really considered doing that at one point only because the colors would look good when not spiked. I wonder if I could have my hair styled like that. Just walk into a salon with a picture of Yami/Yugi and say that I want my hair to look like that.

G1 or CGI style (live action movie)

On average, I hate CGI, I realy do, I feel it takes away from to many artforms and often looks to fake.

I realy don't like it!

However when it comes to TFs it strangely fits :-?

As "hand drawn" animation keeps degrading in substance and quality( ) I feel CGI is truely the best medium for TFs. I know the G1 figures looked od in Beast Wars, but I think it was mainly because the figures where only realy used in quick glimpses. With more time and more detail, they could have done better.

The ZOIDS style shell shadding in Energon worked well for me, and besides the mouth movements, Cybertron was a nice opgrade to the limited resources of BeastWars(even though they made it work).

I don't count the Robot Masters DVDs at all, but to be honest, I'd rather see more of the detailed realistic CGI TFs continue, than the Animated style we'll soon be subjected to.

I mean even if the story's great, it doesn't change the fact that it looks like kiddie crap.

You mean the "Transformers: Animated" cartoon Cartoon Network's coming out with has a storyline? I'll have to look into this if it does.

Seek help, women, or both, or maybe one who's a package deal. Just don't do that, unless of corse you like getting stuff thrown at you, then by all means...

I'm not too worried. I can handle myself if need be. And, despite the whole "egalitarian" outlook most people have on fights, I'm sure that a random dude wouldn't walk up to a chick and knock her on her ass. Though if a guy did do that he'd never have to worry about poisoning the world with his progeny.

once again I make the mistake of assuming masculinity.

Anime hair an a girl, way differnt story!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I say post some pics of the end stylistic result

Oh, and the big words, as a fan of diction and venacular, I say it's a welcome relief to the ususal drivelus, salivate slober common place posts declair, however, they fail to intimidate or unnerve me.

hehe, to think I wrote that without spending big money to learn big words :P
