I don't know if this should go in General Discussion, Ask the Experts or here (VSD Forum), but since it relates directly to the Vector Sigma Database, I'll post it here and let the mods move it if it should go elsewhere.

The VSD is down, at least partly, I tried to pull up the section for Energon and got this:

Warning: mysql_fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /var/www/vhosts/seibertron.com/httpdocs/database/list.php on line 214
Table 'seibert_site.review_images' doesn't exist

It might have something to do with what happened to the site recently, which you can learn about here.

In any case, it's not something I can deal with.

It is back up now.

as far as im concerned, the VSDB is completly screwed up.

Vector Sigma is slagged again. It gives the following error message: (http://www.seibertron.com/database/index.php)

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare generate_pagination() (previously declared in /var/www/vhosts/seibertron.com/httpdocs/ energonpub/includes/functions.php:1523) in /var/www/vhosts/seibertron.com/httpdocs/ database/functions.php on line 436

Please fix this. VS is one of the best features of this (or any transformers) site and I want to show it to a friend of mine who's a huge fan.

Looks like they got it up somewhat, but still the links to each of the profiles are broken, what's going on?

Vector Sigma is slightly fixed, but still broken to the point of uselessness. Links to individual character profiles return a blank white page that says:

Table 'seibert_site.sql' doesn't exist

Lots of other functionality is broken as well. In a lot of places where a list should be returned, instead you get the following error:

Warning: mysql_fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /var/www/vhosts/seibertron.com/ httpdocs/database/subgroups.php on line 63

Finally, the year listings are all 255, and the other feilds, such as sub-group, partner, toy, etc. are all blank.

Anyone know what's going on? I use the VSD for reference all the time, and it's gone. I'd sure enjoy it being up again.

The thing has been screwed up for the better part of two years. It's only after the board upgrade that it finally got to the point where its screwupable aspects became untolerable.

And if you really want to see it get fixed, I suggest you takes your complaints to Ryan. There's nothing I can do about it.

Looks like the database is back up, I can't tell you how much I've missed it.

No problem ... I found an old backup on the server finally that enabled me to restore the old version of VSD while I continue to slowly work on the new version. I finally got some time this past weekend to make some progress with it. I'm hoping that I'll get a chance to make some more updates within the next week so that I can get the new version launched in the near future which I'm sure will make Darth Bombshell happy.

I'd have been a lot happier if that "near future" happened a while back, but better late than never, I suppose.

I'd also be a lot happier if you can fix the admin page problem I sent you a PM about earlier in the week so that I can finally get around to actually adding stuff.
