Here are the two pics I've narrowed it down to so far:



Theres something about his head that I think is awesome, its so mysterious. If I got his head, it would be all done without color and little shading. Just skin tone with the outline.





This is the other picture I've thought about. It would be without Lazerbeak, Rumble, Frenzy and Ravage. But the detail would be hard to pull off. If I did get this it would probably be in color.


I still dont even know if Im going to use either pic. This summer I plan to watch Seasons 1-2 + the movie on my computer and take pics everytime I see Soundwave and find the right picture. Since I cant find a suitable pic in the comics (other than the one shown above.)

This tat is most likely going to be on the inside of my right arm. What do you guys think?

Yeah, but it is a bland picture. Sure more detail but a good tattoo artist will just shade with color. He will most likely use highlights and lowtones to give the same effect. I guess it really boils down to the artist you pick. They can pull off what ever you want if it is in their skill level. I would take more time finding the artist than the picture. The right pic will present itself to you. Just make sure the artist can do it.

I say go for the gusto.. Try the second one on for size and just see how it goes..

I like the second one better. That way anyone can tell it's Soundwave.

Yea, I plan to get it done at Pino Brothers in Cambridge, Mass. The owner, Ken is amazing with detail work.

I already have a spot for it, on the back of my upper arm.

I would look for any Dreamwave art of Soundwave. The Silversnail exclusive cover of Jazz and Soundwave is a great example.

Yea, I couldnt find the original DW comic with Soundwave / all the cassettes. Luckily, the reissue from Takara has the picture in the packaging.

This is the best Soundwave pic you will ever see...

It's good, but not "the best". I say stick with a DW pic of Soundwave.

Im sticking with the DW pic. I sent the pic in and the appt. is almost set up. You'll hopefully be seeing pics in another month or so of a finished tattoo.
