Alien (Xenomorph)

Ok so forgive my ignorance if this's already been discussed but...... Could a Xenomorph impregnate/cross breed with a Transformer-Autobot or Decepticon? Was just wondering as I get the idea they're basically DNA based. Would love to know the answer to this, if there is one as it's been on my mind for a few weeks now, chuffed I found this site though cos it seems to be my best chance of getting the answer to this 'impossible' question

Thanks for taking the time to read this post and am looking forward to any answers, no matter how crazy

If the alien was another robot maybe,
but I couldn't see an organic breeding with a binary.
Unless they were transformed by the lagoon from Sea Change. :-?

Maybe with a Maximal or Pred.

Hmmm, I think I have seen some crossover art. I dunno where though. That would make one scary lookin Xenomorph.

Yeah, a Max or Pred might work better.

i agree with discharge, that it would have to be of a robotic nature.

But WHY did you have to re-open this can of worms? i just hope Damolisher doesnt see this thread!

Say his name three times and he appears!

Damolisher, Damolisher, Damolisher!

He should be here soon. I don't think he can resist this topic

So without further ado...

A Xenomorph (I love that name, its too cool) is partially inorganic. If I recall correctly their cells have some sort of polymer that can form when the alien is exposed to hostile environmental conditions such as space, for example. I don't know how their DNA is composed, but I don't think its possible to have a Xenomorph directly infect a regular Transformer. The only Tf that would more than likely serve as a direct host would be a Predacon or Maximal.

The only way I could see a Xenomorph infect a regular Transformer would be indirectly. First an Alien would have to infect a Quintesson, as they are closest to organics, and the young Alien would have to adapt to the Quint's physiology. This Alien might become a subspecies as it adapts. The Alien may take on some of the characteristics of the Quints, including a more inorganic body. If this happens, the Alien offspring will have less adapting to do when they go into a Tf host, but they would still have to adapt. It may go on to become a new species. Probably with the ability to infect both organics and Tfs, and that would be interesting. It might even take on the characteristics of the Tf host it infects.
How about a Trans- Xenomorph for a threat?

thtas actually quite an interesting point about the adaption and taking the hosts characteristics!

Yeah, the Xenomorph is ment to take parts of it's hosts DNA so it will be better adapted to it's new environment. But it's acid and silicon based, and I still don't understand how that would work with animal DNA, let alone Tf DNA, if they even have it. :?

After reading the Wiki, I could see it happening.
Supposedly some of their species can actually change the
host instead of just bursting out of it.
There was referencing to a xenomorph's body structure
being "biomechanical". If the parasites' dna could determine the host was mechanical possibly it could restructure it's body to assimilate into the metal while retaining a small amount
of organic matter.
It is possible that Transformers are just not a suitable host
and Xenomorphs would not even try being that they would not
give off a heat signature resembling a living organism.

:BOT: I don't knowhow it would technically work... but I'd love to see a crossover mini-series!

If Army of Darkness can cross over with Xena, why not Transformers and Aliens? :CON:
