The ones in the 25th anniversary 5 packs that come with Duke, Scarlett, SnakeEyes, Roadblock, etc and Cobra Commander, Destro, Baroness, Stormshadow, and Cobra guard ; are they the same figures in the single 25th anniversary pack ones? Are they recommended? I've heard they aren't the same exact original 1980's ones. Whatcha ya think? Thankyou!

I don't know about the single packs for sure, I believe those are retool/reissues of the origional figures(Sepentor looks weird), however alot of the Vipers are exact to what I had as a kid.
The 5 packs don't use the O rings, and rely more on hinges for possability kinda like how the Spider-Man figures are built.
The do look like awesome sets but they aren't in any shortage, I'm waiting for clearance before I go scoop them up.
They also have a Viper set that has the Cobra theme on the sound box(that song rocks)!

The 25th anniversary figures are entirely new molds. They are not remolds of the original figures from the '80s.
The figures in the five-packs are the same as those now being offered as single carded figs, with the exception of Snake-Eyes. He was more a dark grey in the boxed set and is supposedly straight black in the single carded version (haven't seen that figure in the wild yet).
In my opinion, these figures are largely a disappointment. The arms are too skinny and the figures have almost _too much_ articulation. For example, the figures who are sleeveless look like they have spent time in Castle Frankenstein b/c the hands look like they were cut off and reattached above the wrist. Check out Flint for a perfect example of what I'm talking about.
The best figs of the line so far (again, IMO) are v1 Cobra Commander, v1 Destro, v1 Scarlett, and v1 Snakes. There are other figures that are nice (v1 Stormy, Zartan, Roadblock, Cobra Trooper/Officer) and some others that are just wonky looking (Lady Jaye, Stalker, Gung-Ho, Shipwreck).
I dunno...I have almost all of the original issue figures from 83 through 91 (over 350), so the 25th anniversary figs aren't must haves for me. I much prefer the originals.
Where the Classics TFs were superior to the G1 figures in regards to articulation and overall asthetics (IMO), the Joes were always well articulated and well proportioned. Sure, there were a few duds (only female that ever looked good was Baroness) but by and large those figures are still up to snuff with new toy lines.

Thanks for the insight. There aren't that many clearances where I live. I got to get them before they are gone. I've got Hoodie Cobra Commander, original googled Snakeeyes and camourflaged Stalker for $5.99 each on Toysrus. I wanted Snakeeyes with the timber wolf but they didn't have him. Those are the ones I have so far. Want to get later Duke,Destro,Red Crimson guard,Scarlett,Baroness,Zartan,Spirit with Freedom,Firefly,Flint,LadyJaye,The Crimsom Twins,StormShadow. Well any of those. Are they avaliable at Walmart and Target too?

Will the 1980's originals ever be re-released by Hasbro again?
