Already a thread on this, but this is the first time I've seen the actual results. I never bothered to see who won after seeing Transformers didn't win. But that's not the order of finish is it?

Yes. I have seen the whole Bourne series. I own the entire series. I think it got what it deserved. And so did Bayformers (sorry fanboys, but I didn't find it Oscar-worthy AT ALL).

All the others I can understand, but I still think TFs should have won the Visual Effects Oscar. Golden Compass did indeed have some beautiful effects, but nothing nearly as complex and intense as Transformers. IMHO. Hell, Pirates 3 shoulda beat Golden Compass. Ah well, there's always TF2.

Agreed. Compass is like tons of other movies produced, but formers is the first of it's kind. Rip off.
