OK I've been wondering, what is it with Nemesis Prime?
Were does he have his origins?
The only NP I know had a show appearance was Scourge in RID and Nemesis Prime in Armada.
Was there one in the G1 comics, were does the idea for that character come from? :???:

sorry I just have to ask, and no telatraan's info isn't enough!

Not in the original Marvel comics, but there is a Nemesis Prime in IDW's G1. The IDW Nemesis Prime was previously a Prime named Nova Prime, but he was completely evil and went to a evil undead universe thingy.

I think that the character originated when the people at Takara decided to recolor Powermaster Prime into Nucleon quest prime or with a G2 Prime recolor.

Anywho, there's more info here:

 Only a few years without a new Nemesis Prime re-paint and the withdrawl is already setting in.

It's okay Dead Metal, I share in your agony. I was one of the guys that kept buying all the white and black Optimus re-paints.

I wish that they would just release a Nova Prime figure so that when they re-paint it into you-know-who, no one can complain.... :P

Nova Prime-Shnova Prime.

Scourge is my Decepticon leader, even though he's currently off line with his light piping being trapped in a Lament Configuration(yeah for real)

All other Nemisis Primes, reguardless of specific origin are a off shoot of him.

Even with Unicrons power, The essence of his spark is tied to the liniage of Optimus, thus his body is alays a duplicate.

The same way many bots can have multiple forms, especialy Optimus, so can he. Still there are ties that bind.

Most Decpticons rue his leadership, even though G1 Megatron himself appointed him lord, his methods have proven effective where those of the more recent Megatrons have failed.

none of this is cannon. It's just how my collective is playing out.
