Salutations, folks.

First; let me say that I'm one of the many fans of the Transformers from day one. There were times when I wished I'd gotten the first G1 toys. (But being young and poor does that to a child.) And while I don't have some gigantically large collection, my collection is still rather large. I'll have to make my list into webpage form and post it one my site.

Some of the things I'm not happy with. One of them is Hasbro's ability to screw over a large number of TF fans by making some toys expensive and "exclusive" (only to conventions that are out of the price range). I mean... "Classics Thrust and Dreadwind?" I SO wanted that! Plus, I would like nothing more than to get Masterpiece Starscream if only he was around $50.00 and not around $100.00.

Also; that current Transformer webpage? That Wiki for TF called "Teletraan 1?" You notice how it tries to be "funny" for some of the character biographs when they're actually not? (Okay, IMMHO.) Just now I had to go and square away the bio of Wal-Mart-Exclusive movie deluxe Jolt (and it probably won't stay for mean-spirited reasons). I go to a Wiki (all arguments about how it sucks understandable) to get info on a character; not for the "bully bull pit."

I start asking questions about "emo Decepticons" like Dirge, Dead-End, and Dropkick. Like, "Why in Vector Sigma are you a peace-hating weapon of mass destruction when you spend more time whining about how bad life is than making the Autobot's lives miserable?" Doesn't that defeat the purpose of being a Decepticon?

So yeah. I'm not looking to pick a fight. I'm just wondering if anybody had seen the things I've seen.

And about Jolt wanting to be a Decepticon? He's a redeco of Crosswire/Smokescreen. His weapon fires and he's got missile launchrs sandwiching his head. His altmode is a Bugatti EB 15.4 Veyron (which is pretty AWESOME and fast for European standards). For someone like Barricade to beat him up, and for Frenzy to add injury to injury... No. Just no.

The whole point of wiki is that everyday turkeys a.k.a people can go in and change things at whim which is why I can't stand it and I have no idea why it's been so popular but maybe it's a control issue with people, having the control to manipulate the data even if it is accurate is very appealing but I consider it a very unreliable source of information...the potential damage it can do is tremendous!

You have to carefully consider your sources of information when reading things even on the internet, it's still no different than a retraction in a newspaper article if they get things wrong because the page is still usually white with black words on the screen the medium is just delivered to us differently now.
