TF Dominos

So I'm having one of those day where no matter what I touch it causes all my bots to topple.

I hate these days!

I tried setting up some bots on a shelf earlier, and don't ask me how, it caused a 2 shelf topple over. Hence I left my TF room as I took it as an omen.

Later I opened a window and some figs that I had out random on a coffee table took a dive, and scattered when they fell.

And the final push for me to write this was just now when I set down a beer in the spot I normaly do and 2 bots that have been standing for months toke a header that kicked over one which has been standing for even longer.

I know bots are difficult to pose, especialy in extensive collections....

But if anyone else has some stories of where they all fell down, please share, if you have wreckage pics, all the better!

Share your pain brothers and sisters...

I keep all of my TFs on the very top of my computer desk, so they tend to bounce around a bit as I bump into the desk, my cat jumps onto the desk, or I otherwise cause the desk to vibrate. I haven't had them *all* fall on me yet, but I've had a few take a header individually.

I remember one particular morning when I woke up to find that my Movie Arcee had somehow ended up on the floor several feet away from the desk and was in the midst of a potential losing battle with my cat. Fortunately I managed to rescue her and set her back on top of the hutch before she became lunch.

LOL  this post and jeysie's above bring humor and mixed feelings when it comes to my collection as well.

Everything, and I mean everything must be at least three feet above the ground preferably higher or the two terrors will knock them over, if I knew how their personalities would turn out I would have named them "Data" and "Lore" from star trek as the one I refer to as Lore is always getting into things and causing destruction usually at 3 am. 8-}

pets and TFs....I have a dog and last summer, he decided that it would be cute to mess up one of the movie figures. Think about the movie and you will know what he did. Nowadays, he learned his lesson and he leaves them alone if they are out but occasionally sniffs them. This is probably why I have my drawers to keep him away from my TFs.

Ahh....animal-friends and one's TF collection....a growing issue in my house! I have set up some of my old collection that had been collecting dust for years in my Closet of Doom. BIG mistake, since I no longer had my curio cabinet that they used to live in. My cat has a tendency to wreck stuff that he knows I like to get my attention! The other morning I was not getting up fast enough to dispense food for him, so he sauntered into the living room and onto my desk, where I keep my TFs...they are up higher than most of my other stuff to avoid feline/TF issues....climbed up high enough and, with one paw-swipe, toppled the whole lot of em! The crashing they made had me literally AIRBORNE coming out of the bed! Some of them are old and held together with some Testors glue and a few Hail Marys...My poor raggedy G1 Thundercracker always loses pieces when he takes a dive, so thus another application of glue was needed! I was SO HEATED!!! My cat knows he isn't supposed to be up on my computer desk to begin with...but he insisted on ramming his point home that when he says "Meow!", I should say "How high?".....Problem being, that that is never the way it works here....I AM BOSS...period. He just keeps on trying to be "the boss"...and failing everytime when he meets with "The Purple Can of Despair" (my can of compressed air that I use to dispense feline justice) in retaliation for his little temper-tantrums.

Man! I REALLY need a cabinet again! :( Have to check and see if Goodwill has any gems for me!

Actualy, I for the most part keep everything in 2 rooms, occasionaly I take a couple to fiddle with while I watch TV. I wanna get a dog soon. One room has a door, the other has a curtain, but I figure if I get a baby door blocker fence dealy I should be good.

But still, how about when they just go down with out the help of furry friends.

Again, yesterday was horrible, and I'm hopping it won't repeat.

Nice to know I'm not the only one with crazy pets.

In my case, though, I doubt it was the cat who was at fault. The reason I have my TFs on my computer hutch (aside from the nice view when I look up while computing) is because it's the only spot in the house he doesn't jump up to.

Nah, Arcee is always falling over, since apparently Cybertronian females don't have any luck finding boots with flat soles, either. Most likely she took a topple on her own, and since I wasn't there to pick her up straight away, my cat simply decided to take advantage of the situation. If I was Arcee, I'd be annoyed that none of the other Autobots bothered to jump down to help. ;)
