If you send in 12 box tops, we will send you a water bottle Peter Cullen has drank from!

Who knows the cereal might be good...

I wonder if it'll have marshmallow bits in it. Probably what we'll see on the front of the box will be Megatron's face looking out with his soul-stealer grin, scaring the pants of every preschooler who passes by it in the cereal isle. Poor kids, they'll have nightmares for weeks!

What I'm wondering is, will Transformers have more merchendise for the movie, or will Spider-Man? Both are the "big summer action movies" in one area or another. Fantastic Four probably won't have much marketing though, as I remember a lot of that stuff being left over in the store for months, even a year after the first movie was in theatures.

Spiderman will probably have more, but Spiderman has already got lots out anyway (and has done for years). The amount of merchandise unique to Spiderman 3 may equal the amount of TF merchandise, but Spiderman will have more overall as its already got stuff out there and it's a bigger franchise to begin with.

That's what I'm assuming.

Hmm, true. Still though, it's possible the marketing potential of Spider-Man is running a little thin. Spider-Man is quite possibly the greatest Comic-Book hero, but I think they are scrounging for ideas when they release Kayak Spider-Man. My brother didn't belive me when I told him about it :P . And I think it's still a year till the new toon is out :-( . I wish Marvel had a toon on now, cause I enjoy a weekly animated Marvel universe tale(Fantastic Four was a bomb, and I thought it was decent).

Transformers on the other hand hasn't had any truly major merchendising endevors for awhile. A few things here or there, but nothing that I've seen really big. Will the movie be a big boon ushering in the era when Transformers will once again be a force to be remembered, or will it be a flash in the pan, forgotten in about a month, like so many "big ticket" movies? Only time will tell.

I want some Transformers Kraft Dinner.

Cereal would be fine too, I suppose. Transform and Rolled Oats!

Nah, it'll just transform into mush if you don't eat it fast enough.

And Megatron will point his skinny stick fingers at the kiddies and say: "Go my sugary minions! Scare the little kiddies! Trix Rabbit, your stuffed toy will scare them well at night with it dead-looking eyes and creepy grin staring back at them when they're wide awake in bed! Capt'n Crunch, make them think they'll walk the plank! Muhahahah!"

I know, I'm strange. It's an inherited condition from my family.
