AIM doesn't have it. I had to get it from an outside source. Ping my AIM and I will send it to you, if you wish.

Does anyone know the origins of the sound? I don't mean what show it came from I mean how was it created and why did they use it?

I like making the sound on my electric guitar. It always surprises people.

How does it sound on the guitar? Can you record a sound clip? :)

it sounds pretty much like the G1 TF'ing sound.

you need distortion, and there's a trick to it, but it's pretty easy.

Can't say I've got a clip of it, it's just something I do when fooling around or in between songs. You can spot a TF fan in the crowd 'cause they know right away what that sound is.

.....being really loud doesn't hurt either. :P

The name really fits the sound doesn't it. Robotic pulsing is just a great way to describe it.

Lol, cool I guess. Maybe I'll work on making a sound clip or youtube clip or something when I get some time.

lol, I do give private lessons, but in person and they're not free.

Just "think" about it, and I'm not being condescending. I thought about that sound a good month before I even tried it on my guitar.

First thing you're gonna need is alot of distortion, to get that "Kch" sound happening on each note. Then think about the actual sound. Most of the time I hear it it's 5 notes. Descending for turning into Alt mode, and ascending when turning into Bot mode.

Then ask yourself. "these notes,...are they a scale? An arpeggio? Is there a chance it's a 5 tone Japanese scale? Like say: A,B,C,E,F.? Or maybe built off of that?

or something along those lines?

Then think about your attack on each note. Pick? Fingers? Clean attack? Scraped dirty attack?

Just play around with it. :-P
