What's the likelihood...

Couple of things. Just want some opinions.
What's the likelihood we may ever see recreations of old leader figures? I was imagining a line comprised entirely of Universe style remolds of previous generations of Prime and Megatron. I thought it might be cool to see a fully articulated Armada Megatron and I'm sure there are other versions that people would like to see improved.
Also, what do people think the chances are of seeing Maximals and Predacons coming back into the main focus? Beast Wars was my favourite cartoon series and I just think it'd be sad to see such significant factions fading into nothing. They wouldn't need a whole series dedicated to them, but it'd be nice to see them come back in maybe Animated or a future cartoon as cameos at least. (The new Universe versions don't count!)
Anything else people might like to see?

well the "beast wars animated" sounds like a cool idea
they could get all of the BW cast back for a remake of the show.
maybe since cgi is cheaper now, they could make the characters look so believable looking(the movie bots, but simpler)that they could make it a live-action/cgi series with actors(but they would need some actual human characters).

I'd be thoroughly against a remake of Beast Wars. The animation may have been sub-par by todays standards but luckily animation alone a good series does not make. I just think it would be impossible to meet the standards of the original show without the exact same lineup in the production team.

I'd be against a Beast Wars remake, but thats because I hate BW.

Well, we're already getting BW figures in the Universe line. As for a new BW show, if it was done well, I could enjoy it. Perhaps do a BW show for the AEC timeline.

Like I've posted many times I want to see a full size fully articulated G2 Megatron.

I agree! Beast Wars was a FANTASTIC show and remains my all-time favorite when it comes to animated TF shows...The toy-line in my opinion was a complete and total terminal case of uber-fail, though. To re-do the show would be tragic, since most rehashes just cheapen and diminish the greatness of the original. Without the EXACT same production team and voice actors, it would be a miserable failure....and it would make me cry...
....and me crying is a very VERY bad thing!

Full size? Awesome. SUNday sunDAY SuNdAy-- come to the Pit and see Megatron crush trough schoolbusses and pick up trucks.
Then he transforms and slaughters the audience....

Beast Wars should most certainly be bought back! That show was absolutely great. It also bothered me heavilly that when the transwarp wave hit, Terrorsaur was glowing as if he was going to get a new body, but then just dumped into lava. Doesn't sit right.
As for a perfect remake of G1 Megatron, they cannot do. It looks way to much like a real gun, which is now illegal. Which is way so many of today's toy guns look like crap

I would also like to see more of Terrorsaur. Maybe in TF:A as an evil clone of Swoop, maybe made by Meltdown or something.

I love Beast Wars but it had it's flaws.
Rattrap and Quickstrike had the most annoying voices in TF along with Energon Ironhide.
They killed Terrorsaur and Scorponok and denied Waspinator his excellent Transmetal body.
Inferno and some of the other Predacons were practically destroyed in Agenda then brought back. Taking away from the drama and denying us new characters. Don't get me wrong I love Rampage and Inferno but always wished BW had a bigger cast.
As for a comeback? I'd be very happy to see that IDW BW comics animated. Magmatron and Razorback were great characters. Also liked Iguanus and RB's crew.
Redone articulated leader characters? Rodimus Prime is crying out for a Voyager toy. And Galvatron, though I am fond of Classics Galvatron.
Let's get G1 Sentinal Prime and Prime Nova (I prefer how Marvel's Prime Nova sounds compared to IDW's Nova Prime and assuming they are technically the same character).

Well, mainframe should still have the original audio and everything for beast wars.
Maybe not so much a remake, but a remodeled and re-rendered BW show?

I would go for a Terrorsaur repaint, he looked really cool in the show. When you look like the transformer equivalent of Venger, you can't lose.

Personally I'd put the odds pretty high given the way that Hasbro is running Universe 2.0. They're doing it a lot more like the Titanium series. I mean, Armada Hot Shot is on the way and looks spectacular, so I'd almost put money on Armada Megatron and Starscream showing up at some point.

There's supposed to be a season 3 ep titled "Rise of the Predacons". We already have Black Arachnia, and we've seen pics of a beast-alt Animated Waspinator. I imagine the cartoon will be featuring more than just the two of them.

I'll echo that toydreaming, just picked up the big G2 Megs a week ago. He could definately stand for more articulation, bigger feet, smaller bosom, free standing hands, swiveling head and waist, etc.
Give me G2 Megs and Armada Megs both redone.
