Randomhouse.com- Del Rey books has a listing for a 'Transformers The Veiled Threat'. The description of the book is that it is a movie (or television show) tie-in, due out in April 2009, and about 300 pages long.

Alan Dean Foster is credited with being the author for this novel, and for the novel adaptation of the Transformers Revenge of the Fallen movie.

It appears that this will be a book that perhaps links the previous movie and the new movie.

Having read his "Ghosts of Yesterday" and still reading his adaptation of the movie itself, I gotta say I'm gonna need this book too I really like Foster's books in general.

"The Veiled Threat"... it is like "The Phantom Menace" ???? LOL !!!

I liked "Ghosts of Yesterday" but felt no need for a book version of the movie itself. I'll be picking this one up as well, but passing on the novelization of RotF.
