Just wanna let you all know registration is open now for
2009 Dairycon! I went last year and had a real good time and got to
see some rare prototypes(which I will eventually get back on here since they were wiped). If you love Transformers don't miss it.

Also, they give a hint to the convention exclusive. Any guesses on who it is?

Where did they hint at the next exclusive figure? I hadn't seen anything on the site when I'd looked...

I'm eagerly waiting for the end of April, since I had such a good time last year! Contests, games, exclusives, art-contest, dealers, fellow fans, a guest speaker, and who knows what else!?!?! Count me in!

I remember talking to Fender Bender about it at Botcon this year.

"So, is Dairycon like Transformers or cows?"

Sounds like fun, a bit far from where I live but it's nice there are a lot of cons out there now.

I'd be down for that, lol.

Fender, I was wondering what was taking you so long to front page this...

Anyways, I attended my first Dairycon last year, and had the pleasure of meeting Fender in person. To say I had fun was an understatement (I placed 3rd in the art contest, which had some wonderful customs)... I am really looking forward to the 9th annual Dairycon. The fact that it's been extended to two days (April 24th & 25th), with added activities is something I'm looking forward to!

Do they allow alcohol?

Yeah...it's Wisconsin...of COURSE they allow alcohol. That's all they do up there is drink beer and eat bratswurst, knackwurst, and other assorted wurst and cheeses...I know...I'm only 10 minutes from the border and can smell them from here... :P

Yeah, I got held up a couple extra days up in North Central Wisconsin after Thanksgiving. I knew the announcement was coming out Monday, but I didn't have net access to post it. When I finally got home today, I rushed to get the story up, not looking and finding the other two threads until after I posted.

In regards to alcohol, as a Wisconsinite, I discourage bringing inferior product to our superior state. :P

That's cool Fender, I was just giving you a little grief.

In regards to beer; I don't believe they'll allow the frosty beverages in the con itself, but there's a lovely bar just a short elevator ride down from the con... In addition to the normal fare, they serve both Leinenkugel's and New Glarus' "Spotted Cow", two Wisconsin-based brews definitely worth trying. Now, of course you have to be 21 to partake of the brews, but that's the way it is...

Thanks for posting the real content on Dairycon, I just can't seem to post things right using this slagging library machine. I live in MI now, will I be beaten and flogged if I can manage to get out there this year?
