I was on break at work with nothing to do and figuring up in my head the amount of time until the movie items start appearing. Out of boredom, I took apart an ink pen which got me thinking of combiners. I thought of just leaving it there like that in about 5 pieces (pen cap, plastic screw cap, ink shaft, pen tip, pen shaft). In a cartoonish way I could envision them in G1-80's style animation, merging, transformation sounds and all. It got me thinking of other transformer like items like this compactable squeegee we carry. A rubix cube I imagine anyone over 14 has heard of. We have these knockoff looking bots not based on any Transformers designs (that I know of anyways) called "Transformax." Maybe I should find better things to do with my free time, but I'm left wondering though. Out of everyday itmes, what's the closest thing to a transformer (or a likeness to) you encounter or deal with daily?

A Cardboard box. Not just one. Many sizes shapes colors and they all open (transform) in various ways.

Books on tape. They are books that transform into soundwaves.
they are even double sided. Also when you hear a book on tape you gain knowledge. Knowledge = Knowing and "Knowing is half the battle".

My multitool probably, pliers to knife to screwdrive to file to wire cutters and more, it's a multi-changer!
