Ages 3 and Up Replacement
Posted: Wed Jan 21, 2009 8:33 pmMany of you know that Ages 3 and Up (henceforth A3U) went out of business at the end of December, causing a small kerfuffel in the Canadian and somewhat more specifically Vancouver transformers collectors base. Well, it seems that at least for the Vancouver collector base, relief has come. Occupying A3U's spot at Metrotown is now the Metropolis Comics and Games (or was it Comics and Toys?). It is exactly the same as A3U, most of the staff is still around, though I think there's a couple new faces too.
However it seems that unlike A3U they won't have a web presence, at least not right away. Also as far as I can tell, they're the only people in Vancouver who have a decent amount of Universe Wave 4 and Beyond figs, but due to the dollar taking a nosedive, the deluxes are $22 each and I didn't stick around to see how much the larger figs went for.
